JFK's final doodle goes up for auction

A collection of John F Kennedy's personal 所有／入手s 含むing the 大統領，／社長's last doodle - a sketch of a 帆船 - is up for auction.

The pencil sketch, drawn on a sheet of Rice Hotel stationery, comes from the collection of Robert L. White who began amassing John F. Kennedy memorabilia 井戸／弁護士席 before the 大統領，／社長's horrific death in 1963.

Kennedy was a prolific doodler. によれば RR Auctions, he was known to cover entire sheets of paper with stacked boxes, repeated words and small sketches, often of 帆船s.

John F Kennedy was known for his love of sailing and had his own 帆船, the Victura.

On November 21, 1963, the 大統領，／社長 arrived at the Rice Hotel in Houston, Texas. He stayed だいたい three-and-a-half hours, during which time he made the sketch, ate a meal and …に出席するd a 会合.

The next day, Kennedy was assassinated.

The sketch also comes with a typed 公式文書，認める from Kennedy's personal 長官 Evelyn Lincoln 述べるing his activities on the day he made the sketch.

It was redecorated by Jacqueline Kennedy when her husband took office and after Kennedy's death his Petty Officer in 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 of Honey Fitz Hollis Beaty was given two plaid 議長，司会を務めるs and a lamp from the ヨット.

Also up for auction is Kennedy's watch, a Bulova with a 事例／患者 and 禁止（する）d made of 10K gold. The wristband has a plate that is engraved with 'JFK, 1941'.
