It is a British tradition that has brought joy to millions of families for more than 150 years.

But now a 会議 is trying to 禁止（する） 顧客s from eating fish and 半導体素子s wrapped in paper.

Instead, people would have to 消費する the meal in a more dignified fashion - using a plate and a knife and fork.

If 認可するd, they would 適用する to shops and 商売／仕事s with outdoor seating areas, known as 'pavement cafes', in Liverpool city centre.

Nick Small, the 会議's 企業 長，指導者, said: 'We don't want people buying 半導体素子s, eating them outside and then dropping their litter.'

It is thought that 顧客s buying food to take home would not be 影響する／感情d.

But not all 地元のs have spoken out against the 提案するd 支配するs - with 居住（者） Matt Cartwright 説: 'It seems sensible. I prefer a knife and fork when I'm eating.'

And Paul McCaffley said: 'Liverpool is a 広大な／多数の／重要な city, but parts of it are filthy. With a plate, knife and fork is a better way to eat food.'
