An animal lover tried to help a seagull chick - but was attacked by its mother leaving her with a 血まみれの 長,率いる 負傷させる.

Student Shannon Harris, 18, was dive-爆弾d after she went to help the young bird which had wandered の上に a busy road.

The adult gull 急襲するd on Ms Harris and つつく/ペックd the art student with its powerful beak in a scene straight out of Alfred Hitchcock's horror movie The Birds.

She said: 'The baby gull was in the road and a car was approaching so I tried to shoo it out of the way.

'But it started screeching and the next thing I knew I was 存在 dive-爆弾d by three or four adult birds.

Ms Harris, who is from Birmingham but is 熟考する/考慮するing at Aberystwyth University, ran home with the ferocious gulls in 追跡.

She said: 'They were 急襲するing 負かす/撃墜する on me and clipping their beaks.

'I was terrified - my 手渡すs were shaking so much I couldn’t 打ち明ける my 前線 door.'

She said: 'I didn’t realise at first that my 長,率いる was bleeding - it was just 続けざまに猛撃するing.

'But when I went up into my room and looked in the mirror I could see 血 mangled in my hair.

'It is a 汚い 穴をあける 負傷させる but it was more the terror of 存在 attacked by such a big bird that upset me.

'I should have gone to hospital but I have 扱う/治療するd the 負傷させる with some antiseptic cream.

'I love animals and 野性生物 but it will teach me to keep away in 未来.'
