Tazhayakov's lawyers argued that it was the other friend, Dias Kadyrbayev, who 除去するd the items from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth dorm room and then threw them away.

Myers said Tazhayakov and another friend, Robel Phillipos, sat passively watching a movie in Tsarnaev's dorm room as Kadyrbayev took the backpack.

One month before the 爆破, the 起訴 主張するs that Tsarnaev met with his friends at a restaurant and told them how he could make a 爆弾 and then spoke about 殉教/苦難.

'It was good to die … as a 殉教者, as you would die with a smile on your 直面する and go straight to heaven,' Tsarnaev told them, によれば Siegmann.
