Remember that scorching September ? sunny, warm and the driest on 記録，記録的な／記録する?

It only ended a week ago but soon it could seem like a distant memory. This week Britain will be 乱打するd by 激しい downpours, あられ／賞賛する 嵐／襲撃するs and 強風s of up to 70mph.

気温s are already 急落するing and parts of the Highlands even had their 初雪 of the year yesterday.

Last night the Met Office 問題／発行するd 天候 警告s for the length of Brit ain’s western coast as a 猛烈な／残忍な 大西洋 嵐／襲撃する approached.

Up to three インチs of rain will 落ちる in the worst 攻撃する，衝突する areas and it is 恐れるd this could 原因（となる） flash flooding. Daytime 気温s will struggle to get above 17C (63F) today and will 減少（する） to a bitter 3C (37F) in some parts 夜通し.

The fiercest 嵐／襲撃するs are 始める，決める to （疑いを）晴らす by tomorrow, but the rain and 勝利，勝つd will continue through the week.

Met Office 予報官 Kirk Waite 警告するd that a stubborn area of low 圧力 over the UK will bring unsettled 条件s until next week.

気温s fell to as low as five degrees in parts of Northumberland, where an 早期に morning 一面に覆う／毛布 of 霧 covered the Tyne Valley

He said yesterday: ‘There is a system developing to the west which will move in through Sunday night and Monday morning. 沿岸の 地域s in the west could see strong gusts of up to 70mph in exposed 地域s though it will be a wet and 風の強い day 一般に on Monday.

‘There is a 激しい 禁止（する）d of rain moving across the country during the day, reaching London and the east by the middle of the day. The 霧 began to 分散させる as the 気温s 増加するd, with highs of 14 degrees in parts of the north-east today - but 嵐／襲撃するs are just around the corner

The 初雪 of the season fell in the Cairngorm Mountains in Scotland as the 水銀柱，温度計 dropped below 氷点の, hitting -1.4C (29.5F) in the nearby village of Braemar.

Leon Brown, of The 天候 Channel UK, said 強い雨 could 誘発する／引き起こす flash floods in western parts.
