This 苦しめるing image shows the horrific 傷害s?支えるd by an 89-year-old man who was 'left for dead' on his doorstep in a 'vicious and 完全に unnecessary' attack.

The pensioner, who does not wish to be 指名するd, 苦しむd a broken nose 同様に as 厳しい bruising and 削減（する）s to his 直面する when he was 押すd to the 床に打ち倒す and robbed for just a handful of cash.

The shaken 89-year-old said: 'It was 全く unnecessary to attack me. He could have pinched my 捕らえる、獲得する and run off.

'He left me for dead at the 最高の，を越す of my own driveway. There was 絶対 no 推論する／理由 for it.

'If he could attack me like that I'm 脅すd of him attacking an old lady in the same way and maybe even 殺人，大当り her. They might not be as resilient as me. He has no 良心.'

The 犠牲者 had just been dropped off by a taxi outside his home in Greetland, West Yorkshire, last Friday when he was attacked from behind by a tall man as he bent 負かす／撃墜する to 打ち明ける the shutter at the 前線 of his home.

The 攻撃者 escaped with a holdall 含む／封じ込めるing a small 量 of cash, which the pensioner was carrying.

The retired man was 急ぐd to hospital, where he spent three days receiving 治療 for his 傷害s.

West Yorkshire Police said the attack would have left the 攻撃者 with 血-stained 着せる／賦与するing and 勧めるd any 証言，証人／目撃するs to come 今後.

探偵，刑事 Sergeant Ross Wadsworth said: 'This was a 特に appalling attack against a hard-working, 年輩の gentleman.

Det Sgt Wadsworth said police want to speak to a man who was selling sponges and clusters door-to-door on Clay House Street between 5.30pm and 5.45pm.

The man, who is 述べるd as white, tall and wearing dark 着せる／賦与するing, 誘発するd 疑惑 with 居住（者）s as he was trying to sell items, but didn't 行為／法令／行動する ually have any 在庫／株 on him.
