Cardboard cutouts of lynching 犠牲者s were 設立する hanging from ropes around the campus of the University of California in Berkeley, 明らかに linked to 抗議するs over the death of Eric 獲得する.

Three of the effigies were pictured around campus - one hanging from a gate, another from a tree and one on the 床に打ち倒す held up by an 行動主義者.

Each of the three 人物／姿／数字s read 'I can't breathe', which are the final words of 獲得する as he was filmed 存在 taken 負かす／撃墜する and killed by a group of officers.

It was 不明瞭な who 始める，決める up the 高度に- 明白な effigies, which appear to have been 始める，決める up to 同時に起こる／一致する with a 抗議する event Saturday afternoon.

Police are now trying to 設立する who is behind the 抗議するs - which the university said are likely to have a racial element.

A 広報担当者 for the school told USA Today: 'It certainly could have been 人種上 動機づけるd, so we're taking it very 本気で and are very 利益／興味d in finding out who did this and what the 意向 was'.

Spencer Pritchard, a 21-year-old student 伴う／関わるd in the demonstrations, said he hoped the effigies were the work of 'someone who 手配中の，お尋ね者 to bring attention to the 問題／発行する.'
