News of the pricing glitch spread 急速な／放蕩な on social マスコミ, with dozens of people taking to Twitter to 報告（する）／憶測 the 取引s they had snapped up thanks to the technical glitch. アマゾン said many orders had been cancelled
But retailers said they 危険d going 破産者／倒産した, with some losing all of their Christmas 在庫／株.
The problem 影響する／感情d 会社／堅いs on アマゾン’s Marketplace ? which 許すs 独立した・無所属 販売人s to 申し込む／申し出 their goods と一緒に アマゾン’s own ? using third-party 商売／仕事 ソフトウェア called RepricerExpress.
It is designed to keep them 競争の激しい by automatically repricing items on アマゾン so they are cheaper than others in the 数字表示式の market.
But for an hour on Friday, between 7pm and 8pm, a problem with RepricerExpress led to hundreds of items 存在 sold on アマゾン at a fraction of their normal price.
It is 不明瞭な whether the 過程d orders will be 配達するd to 顧客s or cancelled, and whether retailers will be reimbursed for their losses.
One of the 販売人s, Judith Blackford, of children’s 着せる／賦与するing 会社／堅い Kiddymania, said she lost £20,000.
‘I started using RepricerExpress, as did a lot of other 商売／仕事s, a few months ago,’ she said.
‘Through an error in their programme, I sold 675 製品s on Friday night that would 普通は be 定価つきの £5 to £100, and they went for a penny each.

He said a fellow 販売人, called Mr Patel, had 苦しむd £100,000 losses from shoppers buying toothbrushes and かみそりs in orders of 1,000 a time.
But shoppers were delighted. One wrote on Twitter: ‘アマゾン are having a glitch on their 場所／位置 and 負担s of stuff is selling for 1p. I just bought an incense 支えるもの／所有者 ? don’t even need it.’
Another said: ‘I’ve just spent 80p on アマゾン… for a few thousand 続けざまに猛撃するs value… 負担s of things are 1p.’
Brendan Doherty, 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある of RepricerExpress, said in an email to retailers who had complained: ‘I am truly sorry for the 苦しめる this has 原因（となる）d.
'We have received communication that アマゾン will not penalise 販売人s for this error.

Last night アマゾン said: ‘We are aware that a number of Marketplace 販売人s 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）d incorrect prices… as a result of the third-party ソフトウェア they use to price their items on アマゾン.co.uk.
‘We 答える／応じるd quickly and were able to 取り消す the 広大な 大多数 of orders placed on these 影響する／感情d items すぐに and no costs or 料金s will be incurred by 販売人s for these cancelled orders.
‘We are now reviewing the small number of orders that were 過程d and will be reaching out to any 影響する／感情d 販売人s 直接／まっすぐに.’
