A West Bromwich street has a new 調印する to 適切に honour Robert Edwin Phillips, a First World War Victoria Cross メダル 勝利者, after 公式の／役人s got his 指名する wrong

His heroism in World War One was honoured with a Victoria Cross and earned his 指名する a place in the 軍の history 調書をとる／予約するs.

Robert Phillips, then 21, 危険d his life dashing across open ground under 激しい 解雇する／砲火／射撃 to 救助（する） his 負傷させるd 命令（する）ing officer, who also won the VC that same day, during a 猛烈な／残忍な 戦う／戦い with the Turks in Mesopotamia, now modern day Iraq, in 1917.

Yesterday Dr Pinches, 70, a retired 借り切る／憲章d 電気の engineer, of Stafford, said: ‘I was a bit 乱すd when I saw the old 調印する for the first time. But I’m more than happy now - the new 調印する is unusual, you don’t 普通は see one with an explanation underneath.’
