An oil 装備する 労働者 who was 悪名高くも 解雇する／砲火／射撃d for 説 he believed he saw MH370 'come 負かす／撃墜する' today 主張するd he thinks the 公式の／役人 search for the Malaysian jet is happening in the wrong place.

In his first 詳細（に述べる）d interview since he sent out an email to 公式の／役人s relaying what he thought might be the Boeing 777 航空機, マイク McKay, 57, told MailOnline: 'Almost a year has passed, but I stand by what I saw.

'I've thought about it and thought about it, over and over and while I cannot say for 確かな that the 燃やすing 反対する in the sky was definitely MH370, the タイミング fits in with when the Malaysian 計画（する） lost 接触する. I have been trying to disprove that what I saw was the aeroplane ever since.'

And so far he has failed to disprove it.?Speaking at his Auckland home where he now sits out his days after losing his 職業 as a result of sending out the email on his company computer on the 装備する off the south of Vietnam, Mr McKay said that everyone believed he had said with certainty that he saw MH370 衝突，墜落 in 炎上s into the South 中国 Sea.

Mr McKay said he has spent many months pondering what he had seen - and remains unmo ved in his opinion that if he had 観察するd a 燃やすing 計画（する） it must have gone 負かす／撃墜する in the South 中国 Sea

'And if it was the 計画（する） that has been 行方不明の for so long, then the search in the southern Indian Ocean is 明確に in the wrong place.'

'I got up at around midnight Vietnam Time, which is one hour ahead of Malaysian time, and wandered around to an area at the 支援する as usual for a cigarette and a coffee. It was a beautiful night with good visibility because it had been raining, which always tends to （疑いを）晴らす the 空気／公表する.

'From when I first saw the 燃やすing (計画（する）) until the 炎上s went out (still at high 高度) was 10-15 seconds. There was no lateral movement, so it was either coming toward our 場所, 静止している (落ちるing) or going away from our 場所.'

The general position of the 反対する, he said, was south west of the normal flight paths of 航空機 he and his co-労働者s saw every day and at a lower 高度 than the normal flight paths.

Mr McKay, who has worked in the oil and gas 探検 産業 for more than 30 years, said that since he was 'kicked off' the 装備する after his email went public and the computers became 積みすぎる he has spent many months pondering what he had seen - and remains unmoved in his opinion that if he had 観察するd a 燃やすing 計画（する） it must have gone 負かす／撃墜する in the South 中国 Sea.

'But what has also annoyed me is the fact that the Vietnamese 捜査員s were stood-負かす／撃墜する after 成し遂げるing one flight based on my 観察 before the whole search 成果／努力 was moved to the other 味方する of the peninsular.'

Asked if he had a theory about what might have 原因（となる）d the 解雇する／砲火／射撃, he said an 出来事/事件 that （機の）カム to mind was an 爆発 in a 類似の 航空機 that was on a 滑走路 at Cairo airport in 2011, which was 原因（となる）d by oxygen escaping from 無能にするd tubing and catching 解雇する／砲火／射撃.?

Mr McKay hasn't worked since losing his 職業. 'There's nothing out there. The price of oil has dropped below break-even in many places, so a lot of the 近づいている 事業／計画（する）s have been 棚上げにするd.'

Because he did not want to become the centre of that circus, he laid low - but that then placed him at the centre of another 論争.

Bloggers questioned why he had 'gone into hiding' while others 示唆するd he did not even 存在する and that his entire email was a hoax.

In Malaysia on Friday, a group of おもに Chinese 親族s have arrived at Kuala Lumpur airport wearing red T-shirts 耐えるing the スローガン 'Pray for MH370'.

They said they had come for answers and unfurled 旗，新聞一面トップの大見出し／大々的に報道するs and 掲示s, one of which read: 'Today it's us, tomorrow it could be you.'

Kelly Wen, wife of one of the 239 乗客s and 乗組員 on board the 航空機 which lost 接触する on March 8, said the group had three main 目的s for making the 旅行.

Mr Wen Wancheng, whose son was on the flight, said the Malaysian 政府 had no facts or 合法的な basis for 発表するing what had happened to the 計画（する）

'There are no facts or 合法的な basis for Malaysia to 発表する that Malaysia 航空機によるs MH370 was an 事故 and that all 乗客s were killed..It doesn't have any 合法的な standing,' he told Reuters.

'It's been nearly a year since the flight went 行方不明の and the families are 苦しむing 財政上の problems because we've been travelling to さまざまな places - 含むing to here and to the family 援助 centre in Beijing and we've spent a lot of money.
