物陰／風下d player 否定するs attacking student

The 裁判，公判 of 物陰／風下d 部隊d footballer 物陰／風下 Bowyer was 簡潔に 延期，休会するd today for the 星／主役にする to change his trousers after he 認める he was not wearing any underpants in 法廷，裁判所.

Bowyer, 24, was asked by the defence to get changed into the trousers and shoes he （人命などを）奪う，主張するs he wore on the night of the 申し立てられた／疑わしい attack on Asian student Sarfraz Najeib outside the Majestyk nightclub in 物陰／風下d.

The 起訴 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs the shoes the footballer was shown wearing on a ビデオ had a large ornamental buckle on and were not the ones 手渡すd to police as 証拠 after the 出来事/事件 in January last year.

But defence barrister Desmond de Silva, QC, said he 手配中の，お尋ね者 him to change into the 衣料品s to 証明する that the buckle was in fact a patch of the 星／主役にする's 肌, 明白な to the camera, because Bowyer never wore socks.

Before asking him to change into the trousers, Mr de Silva asked Bowyer: "Are you wearing underpants?"

Bowyer smiled, appeared embarrassed and ちらりと見ることd to the 支援する of the public gallery before replying: "No, I'm not, no."

Mr de Silva then asked him to leave 法廷，裁判所 to change into the trousers and shoes.

Bowyer replied: "I never entered Mill Hill at all, like I told the police. I never entered Mill Hill at any 行う／開催する／段階."

Mr de Silva: "Were you, at any 行う／開催する／段階, 伴う／関わるd in any 対決 with Asians?"

Bowyer: "No Asians or any sort of race. I was not 伴う／関わるd in any trouble that evening."

England international Jonathan Woodgate, 21, of Middlesbrough, midfielder Bowyer, of 物陰／風下d, and Neale Caveney and Paul Clifford, both 21, of Middlesbrough, 否定する 原因（となる）ing grievous bodily 害（を与える） with 意図 to Mr Najeib. They also 否定する affray.

Mr Najeib, 20, of Rotherham, South Yorkshire, 苦しむd serious 傷害s 含むing a broken 脚 and fractured cheekbone.

Woodgate, Caveney and Clifford, with Le eds 部隊d defender Michael Duberry, 24, of 物陰／風下d, also 無罪を主張する to conspiring to pervert the course of 司法（官） after the attack.

Bowyer re-entered 法廷，裁判所 wearing the 黒人／ボイコット trousers and 黒人／ボイコット shoes he said he had been wearing on the night of the 出来事/事件.

He was asked by Mr de Silva to walk in 前線 of the 陪審／陪審員団 box at 船体 栄冠を与える 法廷，裁判所 and up and 負かす／撃墜する a step to 論証する how he would have been seen on ビデオ entering the Majestyk nightclub on the ビデオ film.

Bowyer said: "No."

Police had gone ahead and 収集するd a ビデオ showing Bowyer at a 機能（する）／行事 where he was receiving the 物陰／風下d 部隊d Player of the Year award and used it と一緒に （映画の）フィート数 of other young men in dinner jackets in 類似の circumstances.

The 法廷，裁判所 has heard that 証言，証人／目撃するs 選ぶd Bowyer out from the ビデオ 編集.

He told the 法廷，裁判所: "It's obvious they are mistaken. The only thing I can think of is they 選ぶd me out because they had seen me in the papers. It is 平易な to see why they would 選ぶ me out when they had seen my picture plastered all over the place as a 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う."

He said a description from a 証言，証人／目撃する that he had been seen biting the 犠牲者 during the attack was "rubbish".

The 起訴 have 申し立てられた／疑わしい it was Clifford who carried out the biting.

Bowyer said he did not know how 血 from the 犠牲者's brother Shahzad Najeib （機の）カム to be in two places on his 黒人／ボイコット Prada leather jacket.

Bowyer said: "I can't believe I had his 血 on my jacket.

"I really don't know because I wasn't in Mill Hill so I didn't get it from there. No 事柄 how many times anyone asks me, I don't know. I have no idea."
