This active four-year-old has been branded 'very overweight' by NHS bosses - にもかかわらず 明確に 存在 fit and healthy.

Jay Ryder was told he was at 危険 of high 血 圧力, 早期に 調印するs of type 2 糖尿病 and low self-信用／信任 after he was 重さを計るd during a 決まりきった仕事 health check at his school.

Yet Jay, who lives in North Tyneside, is a sporty youngster who swims, plays football and eats a healthy diet.

What's more, as this picture shows, he is nowhere 近づく 存在 clinically obese - and the result has left mother Cheryl Wilkinson furious.

'I couldn't believe what I was reading. It made me 絶対 furious,' she said.

'My son is fit and healthy, he is always out playing and he eats all the 権利 things - he is not overweight.

'No wonder children are growing up with eating disorders when they are labelled overweight at just four-years-old.'

The letter, which was sent by Northumbria NHS 創立／基礎 信用, was sent after 歓迎会 pupil Jay was 実験（する）d as part of the?国家の Child 測定 Programme.

His results 明らかにする／漏らすd he was 115cm tall (3ft 9in) and 重さを計るd 25.2kilos (3st 9lbs) - which, によれば the NHS, means he is 'very overweight'.

'It's ridiculous, he is an energetic and active little boy who eats his fruit and vegetables, goes swimming, plays football and enjoys rollerskating,' Ms Wilkinson 追加するd.?

And Jay wasn't the only child to receive a letter which left their parents reeling.?

Ms Wilkinson said: 'I've spoken to other mums who say they got 類似の letters.

'As far as I'm 関心d the 期待s of these charts are very unrealistic and it makes you wonder if the NHS just want us all to have skinny, frail children.'

The 32-year-old mother-of-two said she was made aware her son was going to を受ける a 負わせる 実験（する）, but was not 推定する／予想するing the result she was given.

HOW DO THEY WORK IT OUT??

When 手段ing an individual child's 負わせる status is defined using the UK90 臨床の 削減（する） points which are as follows:

Underweight: Below 2nd BMI centile

< span class="mol-style-bold">Healthy 負わせる: Between 2nd and 90th BMI centiles

Overweight: Between 91st and 97th BMI centiles

Very overweight - doctors call this clinically obese - at or above 98th BMI centiles
