Matthew's 弁護士／代理人／検事, Doug Ramseur, asked Higgins to recuse herself because she 認可するd dozens of contentious 家宅捜査令状s and orders 早期に on in the 事例／患者. These 令状s will be contested during the pre-裁判，公判 period.

Ramseur also pointed out that the 裁判官's daughter is a second-year student at U.Va., as was Hannah Graham, the young woman Matthew is （刑事）被告 of 殺人，大当り in September 2014.

Stepping aside, Ramseur said, would 許す Higgins to 避ける an '外見 of impropriety' resulting from her 判決，裁定 on the 有効性，効力 of 家宅捜査令状s that she 権限を与えるd.?
