British Gas sent a pensioner 62 letters on the same day - asking him to 支払う／賃金 a total 法案 of いっそう少なく than £30.

Peter Sutton, 87, said?even the postman was surprised by the 運ぶ／漁獲高 of correspondence sent to his home in Eastleigh, Hampshire.?

The 法案s, dating 支援する to 2007, only totalled £28.57 - and at 36 pence per second class letter, British Gas would have spent £22.32 on postage alone.

Retired Mr Sutton, who spent over an hour 開始 them all, 明らかにする／漏らすd the gas 法案s were for three propert ies in nearby Southampton, of which he is the landlord.

He believes the 失敗 was a result of British Gas gun reading his メーター after 以前 法案ing him 見積（る）s, and as such he received a wave of 改訂するd gas 法案s going 支援する eight years.

Grandfather Mr Sutton, of Eastleigh, Hampshire, said: 'I was 絶対 staggered and I cannot believe they would send me this many 法案s.

'It took me more than an hour to open them all. I thought it was bizarre at first and I was a bit apprehensive to open them. The postman was very surprised.

'As I went through them I saw a 人物／姿／数字 for more than £5,000 that was credit for my account and I thought I had won the 宝くじ because there were thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs of credit.

'But it seems this has been dealt with over the years.'

He is now wondering if the company will 配達する the same 量 of postage for his electricity 法案, which was 以前 扱うd in a 類似の fashion by 支払う／賃金ing 見積（る）s.

He said: 'I am disappointed if this is the way that British Gas 扱う it and because they also 扱う my electricity 法案.

'I will have to see if they send me the same 量 of postage.'

Leigh Franks, a 広報担当者 for British Gas 商売／仕事, has 約束d Mr Sutton he will received no その上の correspondence.

He said: 'I am sorry we sent such a large number of letters to Mr Sutton, we have made sure that no more correspondence will be sent. We are looking into how this happened as a 優先.'?
