Get out and 投票(する), Blair tells party faithful

Tony Blair has 問題/発行するd a stark 警告 to 労働 投票者s to beware complacency in the run-up to the May 5 General 選挙.

Mr Blair made his comments during an 演説(する)/住所 to 労働 支持者s at an event in Bristol designed to 最高潮の場面 the 政府's 記録,記録的な/記録する on regenerating Britain's inner cities.

The event was held at the £97 million "at Bristol" Science 探検 Centre.

Mr Blair told 支持者s: "If people want to continue with the 経済的な strength, the 投資 in our public services, they have to come and 投票(する) for it.

"That is the simple message from now until 投票ing day."

Mr Blair, speaking on the roof balcony of the centre against a 背景 of the building 場所/位置s which (不足などを)補う part of the Bristol city centre, was …を伴ってd by (ドイツなどの)首相/(大学の)学長 Gordon Brown.

Mr Blair said that it was important that people understood the "根底となる nature" of the choice 直面するing the 選挙民.

"The strong economy is not a 事柄 of chance," he said. "It was done by choice, by the choice of the British people, and then by the choices we made in 政府.

Mr Blair 追加するd: "Never mind what the opinion 投票s say, the thing that counts is going to be in 選挙区/有権者s, often ごくわずかの 選挙区/有権者s, where a few hundred 投票(する)s or a few thousand either way can decide the course of this 選挙.

"The only way of getting a 労働 政府 on May 6 is to 投票(する) for it on May 5."

Mr Brown told the audience that it was 決定的な for Britain's 経済的な prospects that 労働 were returned to 政府.

Mr Brown said: "Let's have Tony Blair 支援する in 負かす/撃墜するing Street, let us have him 支援する there on May 5, let us have a 労働 政府 and let us continue to build this 広大な/多数の/重要な city."
