Former 大臣 David Mellor is locked in a 法廷,裁判所 戦う/戦い over the £30million 利益(をあげる) which he and his 商売/仕事 partners made on a 所有物/資産/財産 取引,協定.

The ex-政治家,政治屋 and his 協力者s sold a piece of land to a company which later 崩壊(する)d, before buying it 支援する again a few years later, the High 法廷,裁判所 has heard.

After the 国際借款団/連合 was given planning 許可 to build a 住宅 広い地所 on the 所有物/資産/財産, they sold it on to a major developer at a large 利益(をあげる).

Now an Italian count who 以前 投資するd in the 場所/位置 has 開始する,打ち上げるd 合法的な 活動/戦闘 against Mr Mellor and his partners, 主張するing that they failed in their 義務 to maximise returns for those who put money in to the 計画/陰謀.

Mr Mellor and Charles Balfour - 相続人 to the 肩書を与える once held by 総理大臣 Arthur Balfour - are 存在 告訴するd by Giovanni Capodilista, a 72-year-old aristocrat and socialite.

This month they failed in an 試みる/企てる to have the 事例/患者 thrown out by the High 法廷,裁判所, and they could 直面する a 裁判,公判 to decide if they must 返す some of their 利益(をあげる)s.

The 訴訟 回転するs around a patch of land at Sandford Farm, 近づく Reading, which was 以前は a landfill 場所/位置 and has now been turned into a 住宅 広い地所.

It was bought in 2005 for £9million by a company with which Mr Balfour and his 商売/仕事 partner Douglas Maggs were 伴う/関わるd.

Soon afterwards, the land was sold on for £12.25million to Sandford Farm 所有物/資産/財産s 限られた/立憲的な, a Jersey-based 会社/堅い 促進するd by Mr Balfour and Mr Maggs, while Mr Mellor, 67, received a £500,000 'consultancy 料金'.

The pair then 促進するd the 所有物/資産/財産 as an 投資 乗り物, enticing 豊富な individuals with a 約束 that the land would turn a 利益(をあげる) once planning 許可 was 認めるd.

One of the 投資家s was Courtwood Holdings, a company owned by Mr Capodilista who is a specialist 基金 経営者/支配人.

When the company failed to 安全な・保証する planning 許可 by 2009 it ran out of money and was 負傷させる up having fallen behind on 負債 返済s.

At that point, Mr Maggs advised the receivers of SFPL to sell Sandford Farm on to WDL, another company which was owned by him, Mr Mellor and Mr Balfour.

He (人命などを)奪う,主張するd that unless the sale was the only way to 避ける 延期するing the planning 過程, which would have 危険d (判決などを)下すing the land almost worthless, the 法廷,裁判所 heard.

A year later, the 持つ/拘留するing company was able to sell the land to Taylor Wimpey, one of Britain's largest building 会社/堅いs, for £27million, with the £12million 利益(をあげる) 存在 divided between its two owners.

Mr Mellor and his partners were also 約束d a 株 of the 利益(をあげる)s to be 伸び(る)d from developing the 場所/位置, with an 概算の £18million 推定する/予想するd to be paid to the three men.

Mr Capodilista 主張するs that the sale of Sandford Farm to a company controlled by the three men, 'leaving behind' the other 投資家s in SFPL, was a 違反 of their 義務 to him.

He argues that WPL owned the 所有物/資産/財産 'on 信用' for the 崩壊(する)d 会社/堅い, an d that the 利益(をあげる)s from its sale should therefore go to him and the other SFPL 投資家s.

Mr Mellor, Mr Balfour and Mr Maggs do not 否定する 利益ing from the を取り引きする Taylor Wimpey, but 主張する that they have not kept any 基金s from Mr Capodilista or other 投資家s.

The former Tory MP served as 長,指導者 長官 to the 財務省 and 国務長官 for 国家の 遺産 under John Major in the 1990s.
