Bigorexia: Men worried their muscles aren't big enough are 苦しむing MORE 団体／死体 image 問題／発行するs than women - but won't ask for help

A new 熟考する／考慮する has 拒絶するd the notion that it is just women that are obsessed with their 団体／死体s, with men also 犠牲者s of 存在 image conscious and fixated on the idea that their muscles are not big enough.

The thinking has 原因（となる）d what has been 述べるd as 逆転する anorexia in men with the new 研究 by Sydney University showing that it is 運動ing them to 注入する 抱擁する 量s of steroids, which is then 主要な to them 苦しむing psychologically.

'This is because they think of having 団体／死体 問題／発行するs as 存在 as woman's problem so don't 演説（する）／住所 it themselves and don't get help. They put it off for longer because they find it demeaning and they put off the 行為／法令／行動する of reaching out for help longer.

'It means that the problem just gets worse. Although women have these 問題／発行するs too, 事例／患者 to 事例／患者, it was the men that were worse.'?

Mitchell, now 23, was 診断するd with anorexia at age 11 after 存在 いじめ（る）d in 最初の／主要な school about his 負わせる, pre puberty. He has also 苦しむd bulimia throughout his teenage years, and struggled with 団体／死体 image 問題／発行するs and いじめ（る）ing around his sexuality.

'Everywhere you look there are images of the perfect 団体／死体 and how we should look. Having the perfect 団体／死体 is branded on our minds and it can become very unhealthy,' Mitchell told Daily Mail Australia.

'At times I even felt 有罪の about drinking water. There is enormous 圧力 put on men 同様に as women to look good. The problem is that when you are 苦しむing with image 問題／発行するs as a man it can seem unmanly to ask for help.

'There's plenty of help out there but you have to ask for it. That's the hardest part.' ?

'It's definitely gone below the レーダ because with 問題／発行するs such as bulimia and ano rexia the 焦点（を合わせる） is always on fat. For men it is about their muscularity. They are taking steroids, laxatives and diuretics but we don't see them as eating disorder behaviours,' Mr Griffiths said.

'There is a whole spectrum of eating disorder and 団体／死体 image behaviour that we don't consider because the 戦略s about how men go about how they want to look are different to women.

'We really need to put a proper 押し進める in this direction rather than just give it lip service like we are doing at the moment.'
