A prankster strung along a man for a week and sent him on a wild goose chase after receiving a text message sent to him in error.

Joe from West Yorkshire, received the message from a man who 誤った thought he was a friend who worked in 着せる／賦与するing 蓄える／店 River Island.

Rather than tell the man he had made a mistake, Joe pretended he worked at the shop and 交流d 得点する／非難する／２０s of messages with his 犠牲者 before bluffing him into going to the shop.

He （人命などを）奪う，主張するd he had bought a handbag for the man at a staff 割引 率 and encouraged him to go to the shop to collect it.

After the man furiously text him from the shop, wondering where he was, Joe finally 認める it was all a hoax and he was not who the man thought he was.

Joe, 32, said: 'I don't feel too 有罪の about it. Some of the messages and memes I was sending him were ridiculous.

'I can't believe he didn't 人物／姿／数字 out it was a 勝利，勝つd-up. I was replying with some really weird stuff to 実験（する） the waters but he just went along with it.

'The messages went on from Monday to Saturday. I was pretty committed to it. My number must have had a previous owner because I got this text 全く out of the blue.

'I'm never surprised at how gullible some people can be. I don't work at River Island and never have. I just thought it would be funny to go along with it.?

'He 手配中の，お尋ね者 to collect it in three weeks but even I wasn't 用意が出来ている to play the game for that long.'?

Joe, who 現実に 作品 in a bank, arranged for the man to collect the '£42' handbag in 蓄える／店 at 5pm last Saturday.

When the man arrived, Joe pretended to be in a 会合 and 非難するd his '同僚s' for a 誤解 when the collection number turned out to be 誤った.

結局, using a 一連の memes featuring actors Kevin Hart and BA Baracus, Joe 明らかにする／漏らすd to the man that he had been texting the wrong number all along.
