殺人 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s dropped against mother

The 起訴 of a woman (刑事)被告 of 殺人ing her baby すぐに after birth was dropped today.
Angeli Whitehead, 28, was 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d with 殺人ing baby Ann-Louisa after 内密に giving birth to her in a pub 洗面所 last November.
She was said to have 宙返り飛行d the umbilical cord twice around the 幼児's neck to strangle her, then 捨てるd the 団体/死体 in a pedal 貯蔵所 in the 洗面所 of the Woolpack Inn, in Boot, West Cumbria.
The 団体/死体 was later 設立する by 妨げる/法廷,弁護士業 staff.
Whitehead, 初めは from Norwich, appeared before Liverpool 栄冠を与える 法廷,裁判所 today 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d with 代案/選択肢 counts of 殺人, 過失致死 and infanticide.

Peter Wright QC, 起訴するing, said the Home Office 病理学者 who carried out the 地位,任命する mortem 実験(する)s believed that baby Ann-Louisa was deliberately killed after birth.
But a 医療の 専門家 called by the defence took an …に反対するing 見解(をとる) and two other doctors said the death could have been either 偶発の or 審議する/熟考する.
Mr Wright told the 法廷,裁判所: "We are left with competing 医療の opinion as to the 原因(となる) of death and in those circumstances we would 招待する your lordship that it is indeed appropriate to let counts one to three 嘘(をつく) on とじ込み/提出する."
Mr Wright said that in reaching the 決定/判定勝ち(する), the 起訴 had considered 最近の high-profile miscarriages of 司法(官) 伴う/関わるing mothers 罪人/有罪を宣告するd on 医療の 証拠 of 殺人,大当り their children, 含むing the 事例/患者 of Angela Cannings.
He said: "最近の events in the 法廷,裁判所 of 控訴,上告, 著名な Queen vs Cannings, have 強調d the real 危険 of 可能性のある miscarriages of 司法(官) occurring."
Angeli pleaded 有罪の to a その上の count of trying to 隠す a death. She will be 宣告,判決 in October.

He said: "This 起訴 wa s 適切に brought on the 証拠 利用できる. However, the 構成要素 now gathered by the defence 論証するs a 不平等 of 尊敬(する)・点d professional opinions.
"There is a (疑いを)晴らす 可能性 asphyxial changes which may have been 現在の in the child could have occurred during a birth which was 長引かせるd and unattended.
"It is not, it seems to me, a 可能性 which could 適切に be 除外するd and therefore I do not 疑問 that the 決定/判定勝ち(する) of the 起訴 not to 起訴する on these three counts is 完全に proper."
The 裁判官 示すd that Whitehead would not receive a 刑務所,拘置所 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 when she is 宣告,判決d in October.
She was 保釈(金)d to stay at an 公表されていない 宿泊所.
