Unscheduled stop 妨げるs rail 悲劇

An unscheduled stop by a 乗客 train at a 鉄道 駅／配置する saved the life of a man who had 崩壊（する）d on the 跡をつけるs, an 操作者 said today.

The man, who was thought to be drunk, 直面するd 確かな death as he lay on the line at Solihull in the West Midlands while a Birmingham to London train made its approach on Saturday evening.

Fortunately for him, the 表明する train was slowing 負かす／撃墜する to make an unscheduled stop at the Olton 駅／配置する after the previous 地元の service was cancelled.

A 広報担当者 for Chiltern 鉄道s, which operates the service, said the train would have been passing through the 駅／配置する at 60mph had it not been for the late change.

He said: "The 5.12pm from Snow Hill to London Marylebone does not 普通は stop at Olton.

"However, 借りがあるing to a problem with the previous Central Trains service, the Chiltern 鉄道s train did stop at Olton to 選ぶ up 乗客s.

"緊急 services were called to the scene but the man ran away before they arrived. There are 報告（する）／憶測s that the man was 負傷させるd. We can 確認する that any 傷害s were not 支えるd through 接触する with the train."

He 追加するd: "Chiltern 鉄道s would like to 警告する people of all ages that trespass on the 鉄道s is dangerous, can lead to loss of life and is a 犯罪の offence."

A 乗客 took a photo of the 出来事/事件 as it 広げるd. The image shows the man, dressed in what appears to be an Aston 郊外住宅 FC shirt, 崩壊（する）d between 跡をつけるs with the train pulling up just metres from him.

Lionel Goulder told the Birmingham Mail: "This man was lying on the 跡をつける with a small stream of 血 coming from his 長，率いる.

"He had 明白に fallen off the 辛勝する／優位 of the 壇・綱領・公約 but, luckily for him, the train was making an unscheduled stop.

"The driver said he saw the guy on the 跡をつける and was able to pull up short and make a normal stop."

Mr Goulder said the man was 老年の between 45 and 55 and appeared to be drunk.

He said he was conscious and 繰り返して told people who tried to help him 'I am all 権利 負かす／撃墜する here mate, you don't worry'.

A British 輸送（する） Police spokeswoman said: "This 出来事/事件 増強するs the message that 存在 drunk 近づく the 環境 of a 鉄道 is dangerous. We will be making その上の 調査s."
