The awful strewth about Australia's 消えるing he-men

The rugged Australian male epitomised by Crocodile Dundee is said to be 長，率いるing for 絶滅.

He is 明らかに 存在 取って代わるd by nerds, nervous 難破させるs and 'metrosexuals'.

A former 政治家，政治屋 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs men 負かす／撃墜する Under are ますます 気が進まない to say what they really think.

示す Latham believes the 保守的な 政府 and a rise in feminism have 軍隊d the 'larrikin' out of the lads.

But Mr Latham, the former leader of the 労働 対立, appears to have little trouble speaking his own mind in his 調書をとる／予約する, A Conga Line of Suckholes.

The 肩書を与える is a phrase he once used to 述べる the country's 自由主義の Party for supporting the U.S. 侵略 of Iraq.

"Instead of calling a spade a spade, our 国家の conversation is now 支配するd by weasel words and the pretence of politeness," he 令状s.

"Few have anything meaningful to say for 恐れる of 感情を害する／違反するing the 保守的な status quo."

Mr Latham is best known in Australia for breaking a taxi driver's arm in an argument over a fare - and for losing what everyone thought was a winnable 総選挙 in 2004.

He 非難するs the changes on a rise in Left-wing feminism and the prominence of neo-保守主義 elements which, he says, have created a '危機 in male 身元'.

He bemoans "the 拒絶する／低下する in Australian male culture" which has seen "mates and good blokes" 取って代わるd by "nervous 難破させるs, metrosexuals and tossbags".

Metrosexuals are men who spend time and money on their 外見. Tossbags are those who fancy themselves.

Mr Latham partly 非難するd the 腐食 of male culture on 首相 John Howard who is seen by 対抗者s as boring and bland. The 危機 の中で men, he says, is a "復讐 of the nerds, John Howard-style".

His comments were 拒絶するd by one 'fair dinkum' Australian male, woodchopper Brent Rees, who said: "There's still plenty of us out there."

Even feminist academic Catherine Lumby 同意しないd.

"That's a 負担 of old 投げ上げる／ボディチェックする," she said. "I've been around the blokes a lot lately and they are funny, irreverent and not afraid to speak their mind."
