労働 has 非難するd the 政府's 計画（する）s for a new 住宅 運動 as waving the 'white 旗' to people's hopes of buying a house.

明かすing a long を待つd 計画（する） to radically 増加する the number of new homes in England, Sajid Javid 認める getting on the 住宅 ladder was a 'distant dream' for millions.

The Communities 長官 has 主張するd it is a '誤った choice' for people to decide between buying and renting in an over inflated 住宅 market.

Mr Javid had earlier told the Today programme:?'People want a decent home to buy or a decent home to rent, it's a choice for them, we should be helping both types of tenancies.'

Asked if the 政府 would prioritise home 所有権, he said: 'It is a 誤った choice. The reality is we need more homes, whether to rent or buy.'

Leasehold?協定s which often land homeowners with thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs of hidden 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s could be banned.

大臣s have ordered a review of the practice, which sees 買い手s have to 支払う／賃金 an 年次の ground rent and service 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s to the freeholder.

Developers have been selling new-build homes with 賃貸し（する）s 大（公）使館員d, leaving 買い手s with no choice but to 支払う／賃金. A Whitehall 公式の／役人 said: 'Some 買い手s are not aware buying a leasehold house can be more expensive than a freehold house in the long run.

'Some ground rents can 増加する 意味ありげに over the 賃貸し（する） period … We will 協議する on a 範囲 of 対策 to 取り組む all 不公平な and 不当な 乱用s of leasehold.'

The move puts 大臣s on 衝突／不一致 course with countryside 選挙運動者s, who 警告する that England's green belt land is already 'under 包囲'.

We can build without 廃虚ing the countryside, says SAJID JAVID, Communities 長官

Having?a 安全な, 安全な・保証する place to call your own is something many of us take for 認めるd. Yet with the 普通の／平均（する） house now costing eight times 普通の／平均（する） 収入s, many of our children and grandchildren have 設立する the door to the 住宅 market slammed shut in their 直面するs.

The only way to open it again is by building a lot more houses. But as today's White Paper makes （疑いを）晴らす, we don't have to 涙／ほころび up our precious countryside to do so.

We're 簡単に not making the best use of the space that's 利用できる. London, for example, is much いっそう少なく 密集して 居住させるd than European 同等（の）s such as Paris, Berlin and Rome. Madrid is a beautiful city of low-rise buildings and 幅の広い boulevards, yet every ヘクタール is home to 3.5 times as many people as the same space in the British 資本／首都.

But 増加するing 濃度／密度 doesn't mean filling our towns and cities with 抱擁する, ugly tower 封鎖するs packed with tiny one-bed rabbit hutches.?

After all, some of the most 密集して 居住させるd parts of London are places such as Kensington and Chelsea, home to 極端に 望ましい mansion 封鎖するs, mews houses and grand terraced streets. There's plenty of 範囲 for building more of the high-質 homes people want to live in, in places where they want to live. We just have to be more imaginative.

Look at your 鉄道 駅／配置する. The chances are it's in a built-up area where 需要・要求する for 住宅 is high, yet it's also やめる likely to be surrounded by under-used or derelict land that would be perfect for 住宅.?

Maybe that's 倉庫／問屋s that could be better 据えるd どこかよそで, or car parks that could be moved 地下組織の. どこかよそで, buildings could be 延長するd 上向きs by a 床に打ち倒す or two to 増加する capacity without 廃虚ing skylines.

Creating more homes in the hearts of our towns and cities will also revitalise our high streets. I grew up above the family shop on the high street in Bristol, and loved 存在 able to walk out of the door into a 栄えるing, buzzing community.

Getting more people living in town centres, within walking distance of shops, pubs and cafes, won't just create lively new communities ? it will 供給する a much-needed 上げる for 地元の 商売／仕事s.?
