The BBC was last night blitzed by furious テレビ視聴者s of its new 演劇 SS-GB who complained it was easier to understand the Germans because they could not hear what the mumbling English actors were 説.
The first episode of the 補欠／交替の／交替する history 演劇, 始める，決める in German-占領するd London in 1941 after the 戦う／戦い Of Britain, featured subtitled German 対話.
But many of the 6.1million テレビ視聴者s said they turned on subtitles for the English 交流s because the actors were 'muttering' and 'whispering'.

SS-GB wasn't just a picture of life under German 支配する. There was also a story within a story. A grisly 殺人 told against the 背景 of a grisly Britain.
German director Philipp Kadelbach brilliantly 逮捕（する）d the mood of a city under Nazi 占領／職業. The skies and buildings were grey, its inhabitants downtrodden and 一般に terrorised.
発射 in the manner of film noir, SS-GB was 悪賢い and atmospheric. Yet, at times, it felt as though 実体 was 存在 sacrificed for style. There were a tad too many scenes of characters lurking in the 影をつくる／尾行するs, loitering in alleyways and moodily dragging on cigarettes.
…を伴ってd by the clipped 対話, there were occasions when the 半端物 scene felt only one French maid away from 'Allo 'Allo reimagined.
That said, SS-GB was bold, 勇敢に立ち向かう and 大部分は carried by the excellent Sam Riley, who is surely the coolest Fedora-hat-wearer since Humphrey Bogart.?
