外科医s 爆破 癌 持つ/拘留する-ups that can kill

癌 患者s are having to wait months beyond recommended dates for 治療 to 妨げる the 病気 returning, say 失望させるd 顧問s.

After tumours are 除去するd by 外科, 患者s should get follow-up 放射線療法 within 28 days, によれば 王室の College of Radiologists 指導基準s.

But in many areas the wait is much longer.

In Kent, for instance, the waiting time for breast 癌 患者s is at least three months. Three 患者s have seen the 病気 return during the long gap between 操作/手術 and 放射線療法.

Peter Jones, 顧問 外科医 in Maidstone, says: 'We believe that it's 全く 容認できない.'

Explaining why he is going public with news of the 状況/情勢 on tomorrow night's Channel 4 派遣(する)s programme, NHS: Where Did All The Money Go?, he says: 'We have been left with no 代案/選択肢 but to bring this to the attention of the マスコミ.'

He is 支援するd by Dr David Dodwell at Cookridge Hospital in 物陰/風下d, who says: '延期するd 放射線療法 for a 範囲 of 癌s 増加するs the 危険 of 地元の 再発 and other problems.

That's in 長,率いる and neck 癌s and sarcomas, cervix 癌 and 肺 癌, 同様に as breast 癌.'

Five UK 放射線療法 部隊s have an 普通の/平均(する) wait of 28 days, which means many 患者s are waiting longer.

In two centres, more than three-4半期/4分の1s of 患者s are 行方不明の the 28-day window.

And 自由主義の 民主党員 MP Norman Lamb, who is on the Health Select 委員会, said: 'I will be 令状ing to the Health 長官.

'The 政府 needs to find a way of 達成するing the 28-day 限界 始める,決める by the 王室の College of Radiologists. No 事例/患者s should 落ちる outside this 臨床の 推薦.'
