The middle classes are showing an 前例のない contempt for the 法律, with two thirds admitting to offences such as 税金 回避 or 引き上げ（る）ing up 保険 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs, a 調査する 示唆するs.

In some circles, obeying the 支配するs is 見解（をとる）d as a "disadvantage" の中で those 決定するd to 改善する their home or get their own 支援する for high 保険 賞与金s.

研究員s said an "unrestrained 追跡 of self-利益／興味 and 利益（をあげる）" had swept through society. Moral 基準s had been eroded by those who have 可決する・採択するd a dog-eat-dog mentality.

The most ありふれた 罪，犯罪 is striking a "cash-in-手渡す" を取り引きする a 建設業者 or other tradesman to 避ける 税金.

The homeowner gets a cheaper 温室 or kitchen because 付加価値税 is not 追加するd to the 法案. The workman, in return, escapes 支払う／賃金ing 所得税.

Other ありふれた misdemeanours 含む inflating 保険 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs - 追加するing a 始める，決める of ゴルフ clubs to a shed 押し込み強盗, for example - or taking items such as stationery from work. Then there is keeping change if 手渡すd too much by a shopkeeper.

The 報告（する）／憶測, by Professor Susanne Karstedt and Dr Stephen Farrall of Keele University, is published by the 尊敬（する）・点d Centre for 罪，犯罪 and 司法（官） 熟考する／考慮するs. It says the middle classes 正当化する their behaviour by 扱う／治療するing it as a "反乱" against 明らかな 不正.

For example, 保険 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs are inflated as a reaction against "smallprint 支配するs or over-定価つきの 賞与金s".

Some 82 per cent said they had been the 犠牲者 of a 罪，犯罪 or shady practices, such as extra items 存在 追加するd to a 法案, or tradesman 非難する for work that was not carried out or unnecessary.

The findings are based on a 投票 of 1,807 回答者／被告s in England and むちの跡s. 研究員s define the middle classes as those 老年の 25 or over who own their own homes and have money to spend on 消費者 items and not just 必須のs such as food and 法案s.

Dr Farrall said: "It is the values and the behaviour of those at the centre of society that are indicative of the moral 明言する／公表する of our society, perhaps much more so than violent and other street 罪，犯罪s."

Richard Garside, director of the CCJS, said: "政治家，政治屋s from across the political spectrum 定期的に （人命などを）奪う，主張する that most 罪，犯罪 is committed by a hard 核心 of 違反者／犯罪者s, 大部分は drawn from lowincome groups.

"This 研究 論証するs that 容積／容量 罪，犯罪 is far more 普及した, with the middle class 存在 責任がある a wide 範囲 of 違法な activities.

"The 推論する／理由s for this are コンビナート／複合体, and relate to the 根底となる social changes in British society over the past 30 years."

Professor Karstedt said: "Contempt for the 法律 is as 普及した in the centre of society as it is assumed to be はびこる at the 利ざやs and の中で 明確な／細部 ごくわずかの groups.

"Anti-social behaviour by the few is mirrored by anti-civil behaviour by the many.

"Neither greed nor need can explain why respectable 国民s cheat on 保険 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs or in second-手渡す sales, and do not hesitate to discuss their 偉業／利用するs with friends in pubs."
