A water spout is essentially a トルネード，竜巻 formed over the sea rather than land.

The 渦巻くing 集まり of water is created when there is a 気温 difference between the warm sea water and cooler 空気／公表する higher up in the sky.

Water spouts are 一般に not as dangerous as トルネード，竜巻s over land but can 提起する／ポーズをとる a 危険 to surfers and small sailing boats.

Julie Robinson, 54, was serving guests breakfast at the Warwick Guest House on Weymouth Esplanade when she spotted the waterspout through the window.

She said: 'We had some guests come 負かす／撃墜する for breakfast and they were sat in the window seat. I was about to take their order when they pointed it out.

'I said 'hang on a minute, I've got to get this' and ran outside and 逮捕（する）d it.
