British Legion 告発する／非難するs 政府 of 'failing its historic 義務 of care' toward frontline 兵士s

The 政府 was today （刑事）被告 by 武装した 軍隊s 退役軍人s of failing in its historic 義務 of care に向かって frontline 軍隊／機動隊s.

The （選挙などの）運動をする will put the 省-of Defence under 圧力 to 供給する better 福利事業 support, accommodation and 医療の care for the service community.

Today's 声明 by the Legion said: "Our servicemen and women deserve more from their 政府. By committing themselves to put their lives on the line for their country, they deserve 即座の 医療の 治療 and just 補償（金） if they are 負傷させるd."

Its （選挙などの）運動をする, which will be 開始する，打ち上げるd during this autumn's party political 会議／協議会s, will 焦点（を合わせる） on 医療の care, 軍の 検死s and the unfairness of the 補償（金） system for 負傷させるd 軍隊／機動隊s.

The （選挙などの）運動をする will 最高潮の場面 the rising number of 本気で 負傷させるd 軍隊／機動隊s, with 死傷者 人物／姿／数字s this year already 始める，決める to はるかに引き離す 2006.

The Legion will point out that 兵士s are losing 約束 in their 器具／備品 - in particular the Snatch Land Rover, which is 攻撃を受けやすい to 道端 爆弾s - and that 軍隊／機動隊s in Basra, Iraq, 直面する "nightly 自殺 使節団s? on patrol.

憤慨 has also been fuelled by 不平等s in the 治療 of frontline and other 職員／兵員. Parat rooper Ben Parkinson, 23, who lost both 脚s in a landmine 爆破, will be given £152,150 - but a typist with the RAF received £484,000 last month after 負傷させるing her thumb at work.

A Legion 広報担当者 said: "This is not an Iraq/Afghanistan （選挙などの）運動をする. It is for the whole of the service community. However, it's true that the service charities have seen an 増加する in their workload as a result of 確かな 操作／手術s."
