Natural birth doctor （刑事）被告 of caesarean baby death 失敗

A 主要な obstetrician who

is a strong 支持する of natural

births is （刑事）被告 of 原因（となる）ing the

death of a baby by failing to

成し遂げる a caesarean section

soon enough.

Dr Susan Bewley, who has

spoken out against the rise in

"unnecessary" caesareans, 恐らく

One 同僚 said: "She was not

given the woman's 公式文書，認めるs and was

unaware that the baby was at 危険.

"She didn't deliberately decide to

realised the baby was in difficulty she

"Susan is very 苦しめるd by what happened but the 見解（をとる） is that she

the baby was at 危険 and needed to be

scapegoat for what has gone wrong."

The 悲劇 happened at Guy's and

St Thomas' Hospital in London in

December 2004 but Dr Bewley has

been 許すd to continue in her 職業.

The mother who lost her baby had

caesareans to 配達する her first two

children but Dr Bewley 明らかに felt

for her third.

after the birth.

Dr Bewley, who

has worked at Guy's since 1994 and is

gynaecology department, is the only

審理，公聴会 on Monday.

calls for more natural births.

In Britain almost a ４半期/4分の1 of all

babies are now born by caesarean. Its

Last year Dr Bewley and two

Dr Bewley, a former co-chairman of
