Teachers questioned for the 熟考する/考慮する 警告するd that mothers who put their careers ahead of parenting were fuelling the problem.

This put them under '激しい and perhaps 過度の 圧力' at too young an age.

But schools for many children were also 避難s from troubling 影響(力)s in the outside world, the 報告(する)/憶測 said.

Headmasters and teachers 嘆き悲しむd children's (危険などに)さらす to unsuitable 影響(力)s 経由で television, the internet, 動きやすい phones and computer games.

They also told 研究員s they disliked our '国家の obsession with celebrity' and the マスコミ's elevation of '不適切な 役割 models'.

The rise of computers had meant, in the words of one teacher, 'いっそう少なく speaking and listening'.
