A pensioner who died within hours of 存在 発射する／解雇するd from hospital told her daughter in a heartbreaking phone call: 'They have finished me off.'

Norah O'Hare, 84, whose doctor 恐れるd she had 肺炎, died the same day she was 許すd to leave Whiston Hospital in Merseyside.

The pensioner, from Speke, south Liverpool, spent two days in hospital and on the day of her 発射する／解雇する rang her daughter Patricia in despair.

But daughter Patricia said she knew 'she would never hear her mum's 発言する／表明する again' when she said goodbye.

Patricia, who lives in Florida, USA, said: 'Her [Norah's] final words to me were: "If your father was alive he would 令状 a letter about what the hospital have done to me. They have finished me off."'

The hospital has apologised 'unreservedly' to the family after 受託するing there were '不足（高）s' in the care 供給するd to Norah.

Patricia said her mum gave a 詳細（に述べる）d account of her time in hospital, over the phone and told her how she 'no longer 信用d staff'.

Patricia said: 'I spoke to her for about 45 minutes before she died.

'I listened as she told me how she had been told by a doctor that sh e was now stable and could go home and could not understand why they had told her she was okay to go home but yet kept giving her oxygen in high 量s.

'She said she no longer 信用d staff and she just 手配中の，お尋ね者 to go home and be with her children.

'As we said goodbye and hung up the phone I knew I would never hear her 発言する／表明する again.'

Norah was 認める to the 緊急 department at Whiston Hospital after feeling unwell for a week, with a cough and shortness of breath.

Norah's family asked Williamsons Solicitors of 船体, East Yorkshire, for help and their 事例／患者 was taken on by 臨床の 怠慢，過失 solicitor Wayne Walker.

In a letter sent to the family from Ann Marr, 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある of St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS 信用, the 信用 認める its care had 'fallen below the 基準 Mrs O'Hare was する権利を与えるd to 推定する／予想する'.

The letter read: 'It is 定評のある that consideration should have been given to 非，不，無-invasive ventilation based on 血 gas results and that there was poor 固守 to the 信用 oxygen therapy 指導基準s.

'However, we are committed to 存在 完全に open and transparent whenever 不足（高）s in care are identified.

'We have apologised unreservedly to Mrs O'Hare's family and have worked hard to 確実にする that lessons have been learned.

'We 申し込む／申し出 our sinc ere 弔慰s to the family.'

Patricia said: 'I brought the （人命などを）奪う，主張する with the hope that it may 妨げる 未来 deaths and neglect of our 年輩の within NHS hospitals.

'Everyone in Speke knew mum. She was loved and 尊敬（する）・点d and her door was always open to the 隣人s.

'She was a 肉親，親類d and gentle woman who was 十分な of stories of the 'old days'.

'未亡人d at 49, mum never gave up, she was a strong woman and would always be the first to reach out and consider others before herself.

'Even when she became older and frail she was the same. Mum's death has been 記録，記録的な／記録するd as COPD which may have been her 条件 but it was certainly not the 原因（となる） of her death.'

An 検死 into Norah's death is 始める，決める to be held by a 検死官 in October.

The family has recently been awarded £3,500 in 損害賠償金.
