High 鮮明度／定義 TV to be 利用できる everywhere by 2009

High 鮮明度／定義 television is 始める，決める to be 自由に 利用できる by 2009 after a major 昇格 of terrestrial channels was 発表するd today.

Ofcom, which 認めるs 許可 to broadcast, has 確認するd 計画（する）s to 増加する the capacity of 数字表示式の terrestrial TV which 覆うs the way for the first freeview HD channels.

The UK's main terrestrial 放送者s have 誓約（する）d to go fully high 鮮明度／定義 by the time of the 昇格.

The first services will be BBC HD, which was 認可するd by the BBC 信用 earlier this week, ITV HD and Channel 4 HD. Channel Five's HD service will be 完全にする by 2012.
