'I met with the First 大臣 today and he 知らせるd me 主張s had been made about my personal 行為／行う, which was shocking and 苦しめるing to me,' the Alyn and Deeside AM said in a 声明 on Twitter.

'I have written to the general 長官 of Welsh 労働 requesting an 緊急の 独立した・無所属 調査 into these 主張s ーするために 許す me to （疑いを）晴らす my 指名する.

'Given the nature of the 主張s, I agreed with the First 大臣 that it was 権利 that I stand aside from 閣僚 today.

'I look 今後 to returning to 政府 once my 指名する has been （疑いを）晴らすd.'

Mr Sargeant has been an AM since 2003, becoming the 労働 group's 長，指導者 whip before taking a string of 政府 役割s.
