A man without shame: How can sex スキャンダル F1 boss Max Mosley paint himself as the 負傷させるd party

Far from 縮むing away from the public gaze over the 発覚s earlier this month that he indulged in a five-hour sex 開会/開廷/会期 with five 女性(の) 売春婦s in a Nazi-style orgy, Max Mosley, the 68-year-old 長,率いる of モーター racing's 治める/統治するing 団体/死体, has ひどく defended his 活動/戦闘s - calling them 単に 'eccentric'.

Not only that, the multi-millionaire son of the 悪名高い British 国粋主義者/ファシスト党員 leader Sir Oswald Mosley has 開始する,打ち上げるd what 約束s to be a 長引かせるd and bitter 合法的な 戦う/戦い against the newspaper 関心d, the News of the World, for "侵略するing his privacy".

スキャンダル: Max Mosley and his father Sir Oswald

The paper has said it will "vigorously" defend itself in the 活動/戦闘, which could come to 法廷,裁判所 as 早期に as July this year.

But Mosley - puffed up with sanctimony - is also 納得させるd Britain needs new, "beefed up" privacy 法律s.

The former barrister, married for 48 years, ーするつもりであるs to use his 合法的な 活動/戦闘 - and his political 関係s - to 開始する,打ち上げる a (選挙などの)運動をする to 妨げる the 圧力(をかける) 明らかにする/漏らすing 私的な 性の preferences.

In an interview last 週末 with the Sunday Telegraph, he said: "I think most adults would say that whatever in that spectrum somebody does, 供給するd it doesn't 傷つける anybody, 供給するd it's consensual, 供給するd it's の中で adults, 供給するd it's in 私的な, it 関心s nobody but the people doing it."

The 都市の Mosley, who has built a かなりの 評判 as 大統領 of the 連合 International De l'Automobile (FIA), doesn't 否定する 支払う/賃金ing £2,500 for his sadomasochistic 偉業/利用するs.

But he 主張するs it is "完全に 誤った" to 示唆する there was a Nazi element to his "orgy", as the paper 示唆するd.

"It's a 事柄 of 原則 for Max," said one of the Oxford-educated former racing driver's friends this week.

"He sees himself as fighting against the 権利s of the 圧力(をかける) to intrude into 私的な lives - and he's not just going to 追求する his 原因(となる) in England.

"He's 意図 on doing it around the world because the ビデオ that went with the story was broadcast so 広範囲にわたって on the internet."

Last week, Mosley's lawyers failed to 勝利,勝つ a High 法廷,裁判所 (裁判所の)禁止(強制)命令 against the News of the World to stop it republishing the ビデオ of his activities on its website.

Glamour: Max Mosley with 決まり文句/製法 One pitgirls on race day

The 裁判官, Mr 司法(官) Eady, 支配するd that although the ビデオ was "intrusive and demeaning", it was so 広範囲にわたって accessible that the 法律 could not 保護する him.

Mosley 認める the story had been "appallingly embarrassing" for his family, and that his wife, ジーンズ, was not "best pleased", and neither were his two adult sons Alexander, 37, and Patrick, 35.

His wife spends much of her time at their £3 million home in Chelsea, London, while Mosley lives おもに in Monaco.

But he shows no 調印する of 支援 負かす/撃墜する. As one of his friends put it: "He's a hard-nosed b*****d, as he's 証明するd at the 最高の,を越す of 決まり文句/製法 One, and he's not going to walk away."

The 戦う/戦い to come will be fought using all his famed Machiavellian 合法的な 技術s - 同様に as friends in high places - to 圧力(をかける) his 事例/患者 for a privacy 法律.

For Mosley has 関係s that stretch to the very 最高の,を越す of the 労働 政府.

He is の近くに, for example, to 不名誉d 大臣 Peter Hain, who was 軍隊d to step 負かす/撃墜する after failing to 宣言する 出資/貢献s to his (選挙などの)運動をする for the 副 leadership of the 労働 Party.

Hain was Mosley's personal g uest at the Monaco Grand Prix in 2005.

Indeed, there are rumours that Mosley was asked to 与える/捧げる to Hain's 副 leadership (選挙などの)運動をする, but 拒絶する/低下するd to do so.

Mosley himself may not have 与える/捧げるd, but he is の近くに to one man in モーター racing who did: Patrick 長,率いる, co-創立者 of the Williams 決まり文句/製法 One team.

He gave Hain £2,000. Indeed, 長,率いる and Frank Williams 招待するd Hain to the Italian Grand Prix in 1999.

In the 登録(する) of Members' 利益/興味s this year, Hain 認めるs his 利益/興味 in モーター racing and 明言する/公表するs that he 受託するd 歓待 from the モーター Sports 協会 at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone last summer.

Nor does Mosley 欠如(する) for political advice. One of his closest friends is Alan Donnelly, (n)役員/(a)執行力のある chairman of 君主 戦略, one of the most 重要な of the lobbyists that surround the 政府.

A 信頼できる Blairite, Donnelly is Mosley's "公式の/役人 代表者/国会議員" at the 跡をつけるs. He was an MEP in the North-East for ten years until he 辞職するd in January 2000 after two years as 労働 Group leader.

Donnelly 主張するd he could no longer 直面する the constant travel between his 選挙区/有権者 in Tyne and Wear and the European 議会 in Strasbourg.

"There are no 骸骨/概要s in the cupboard, にもかかわらず the fact that before the Euro-選挙s some of them 動揺させるd," Donnelly said at the time - a 言及/関連 to his "遠出" as a homosexual by a European 議会 magazine.

He was later 報告(する)/憶測d to have left his wife to live with his male lover.

What is not in 疑問 is that the lunches and dinners that Donnelly organises are often …に出席するd by 労働 閣僚 大臣s.

Donnelly is 特に の近くに to Foreign 長官 David Miliband, 事実上の/代理 as chairman of his 選挙区/有権者 協会 in the North-East, and to Health 長官 Alan Johnson.

That 関係 leads us to another man who could certainly be said to have "影響(力)d" the 労働 政府, Mosley's old friend and 決まり文句/製法 One boss Bernie Ecclestone.

The diminutive Ecclestone, you will remember, was 伴う/関わるd in 労働's biggest sleaze スキャンダル in 1997 after it 現れるd he'd 寄付するd £1 million to the party not long before they 解除するd a 禁止(する) on タバコ advertising on his sport's cars.

Tony Blair, then 総理大臣, was 軍隊d to return the money after the F1 boss was said to have 個人として ロビーd him over the 禁止(する).

Mosley is said to have …に出席するd at least one of the 会合s between Ecclestone and Blair.

"Bernie's street-smart," said a 主要な member of the sport, "but he's always relied on Mosley's strengths as a silver-tongued lawyer to get what he wants."

With all these 関係s, it's hardly surprising Mosley is said to be "resolute and unashamed" in his 合法的な 活動/戦闘, in spite of calls for him to stand 負かす/撃墜する as 大統領 of the FIA from 主要な 製造業者s 含むing BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Nor he is popular in the 炭坑,オーケストラ席s. "Behind his 支援する, people have been calling him an arrogant autocrat for years," one insider said, "And they see these 告訴,告発s of sleaze as a way finally to get rid of him."

Former world 支持する/優勝者 driver Sir Jackie Stewart, for one, has called on Mosley to step 負かす/撃墜する, but the two men have a history of 不一致, not least over Mosley's 明らかな support for the Ferrari racing team - his position in モーター racing means he is supposed to be utterly impartial.

意味ありげに, Mosley won't be …に出席するing this 週末's Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona - even though the FIA is to use the race to 開始する,打ち上げる an anti-人種差別主義 (選挙などの)運動をする after 人種差別主義者 attacks on the British driver 吊りくさび Hamilton.

Mosley's next major public 外見 is likely to take place on June 3 in Paris, when he will appear at an 驚くべき/特命の/臨時の general 会合 of the FIA.

"Max ーするつもりであるs to fight any suggestion to 辞職する," a friend said.

So let us take a closer look at the man who was 明らかにする/漏らすd to enjoy 存在 whipped in a "拷問 dungeon" and who went on to "spank" young women who were 強いるd to wear (土地などの)細長い一片d 控訴s reminiscent of 囚人s in a 集中 (軍の)野営地,陣営.

There is no 否定するing he has been 同情的な to the 国粋主義者/ファシスト党員 原因(となる): he is the second son of the leader of the British Union of 国粋主義者/ファシスト党員s, Sir Oswald Mosley, and his wife Diana Mitford.

Just 11 weeks after his birth in 1940, his parents were 拘留するd for their support for the Nazis. The guest of honour at their wedding had been Adolf Hitler.

Educated first in フラン then in Germany, Mosley went to Millfield public school in Somerset before going up to Christ Church, Oxford, in 1958 to 熟考する/考慮する physics.

As 長官 of the Oxford Union, Mosley (選挙などの)運動をするd for his father under the スローガン "解放する/自由な Speech for 国粋主義者/ファシスト党員s".

Indeed, it was at a Union Movement party that he met ジーンズ Taylor, and they married in 1960 when he was 20.

Four years later he qualified as a barrister, specialising in trademarks 法律 - but his father's politics still fascinated him.

Mosley 救助(する)d him from a 暴徒 in 1962 after a 決起大会/結集させる in London's East End turned into a 近づく 暴動.

At the 1964 General 選挙, Mosley stood as a 議会の 候補者 for his father's Union Movement, but was soundly 敗北・負かすd.

But then モーター racing 逮捕(する)d Mosley's imagination, and he started racing cars.

One 推論する/理由 for his love of the sport was that no one recognised his political 関係s.

As he 認める later: "There was always a 確かな 量 of trouble [存在 the son of Sir Oswald] until I (機の)カム into モーター racing, but in one of my first races I heard someone say: 'Mosley, Max Mosley - he must be a relation of Alf Mosley, the coachbuilder.'

"And it has always been a bit like that: no one gives a darn."

Even though he retired as a driver after two 衝突,墜落s in 1968, Mosley stayed on as one of the 創立者s of March 工学, a racing car manu facturer.

It was that which led him to 会員の地位 of the Grand Prix 建設者s' 協会, and his friendship with Ecclestone, the British 実業家 who'd bought the Brabham モーター racing team in 1971.

In the 早期に 1980s Mosley worked for the 保守的な Party and even became a 議会の 候補者 - but did not 追求する it, criticising the 質 of "上級の party 公式の/役人s".

His 欠如(する) of a political career is said to be his greatest 悔いる.

にもかかわらず, his friendship with Ecclestone brought Mosley 支援する to モーター racing, and to the 大統領/総裁などの地位 of the FIA.

Not that his 統治する has been without 論争. He has been 断固としてやる criticised for favouring the Ferrari team, both on and off the 跡をつける.

意味ありげに ジーンズ Todt, former racing director of Ferrari, has been one of the few 上級の 人物/姿/数字s in the sport to come out in his support in the wake of the スキャンダル, while Ron Dennis, boss of the McClaren team, has been much more circumspect, 辞退するing to comment on Mosley's position as 大統領,/社長 of the FIA.

As usual, Ecclestone has remained on Mosley's 味方する, 説 すぐに after the "Nazi" 主張s surfaced: "Assuming it's all true, what people do 個人として is up to them.

"I don't believe it 影響する/感情s the sport in any way."

But in 最近の weeks even he has 差し控えるd from any more direct support of his old friend.

"Bernie is 静かに distancing himself from Max," one insider said.

"He doesn't want the 評判 of his sport 損失d in any way."

Mosley himself remains 反抗的な, 説: "If the members of the FIA want me to stay as 大統領, I'll stay. If they want me to go, I'll go."
