悪意のある?smartphone apps are 許すing snoopers to 秘かに調査する on partners’ phone, 監視する their children’s messages or 跡をつける 従業員s.

Apps sold on the Apple and Google Play 蓄える／店s enable eavesdroppers to 記録，記録的な／記録する other people’s calls, 地図／計画する a 的’s 場所 and 監視する messages on social マスコミ.

Many can also be used to 明らかにする／漏らす a 的’s internet browsing history and even see how much 殴打／砲列 life their phone has left.

Accessing a computer device without someone’s permission is an offence under the Police and Justice Act and can carry a two-year prison sentence.?But it is clear from user reviews that the apps are often being used for covert surveillance by people who suspect their partner is cheating [File photo]

It is only in the small print of the app’s 条件 and 条件s that it 明言する／公表するs the person doing the 秘かに調査するing must own the 装置 存在 跡をつけるd, or the person 存在 跡をつけるd must give their 許可.

One 重要な feature of the app is that its icon can be hidden away from the phone’s home 審査する with the 使用者 needing to make a 詳細（に述べる）d search of the phone to discover it.

But 国内の-乱用 charities have 警告するd that 犠牲者s are 存在 的d because of the apps.?

Leanne Higgins, of Solace Women’s 援助（する） charity, said one man recently turned up at a women’s 避難 after 跡をつけるing his partner’s phone.?

She said: ‘The phone was given to her by him, and he was messaging her 説, “I know where you are, I am in the area.” She was definitely at 危険 of 害（を与える）.’
