The news comes まっただ中に growing 緊張 between Mr Raab and David Davis, his 前任者 as Brexit 長官. Mr Davis and Mr Raab ? who started his political career as 長,指導者 of staff to Mr Davis in his ありふれたs office 12 years ago ? are both 争う to be the Brexiteers’ choice for leader.

The Mail on Sunday has been told that Mr Raab has 正式に complained to Mr Davis about the behaviour of some of his 同盟(する)s, who want Mr Raab to ‘tuck in’ behind the more experienced Mr Davis on a leadership ticket.

Mr Raab, who is half-Czech, has a 黒人/ボイコット belt in karate and 持つ/拘留するs 法律 degrees from Oxford and Cambridge, walked out of Mrs May’s 閣僚 last month in 抗議する at her Brexit 取引,協定.

He has led the calls for her to 辞職する in the wake of the 信用/信任 投票(する) against her, 説 he 恐れるd that if Mrs May remained in No 10 there would be a greater 危険 of 労働’s Jeremy Corbyn becoming 総理大臣.

‘It looks very difficult to see how this PM can lead us 今後,’ he said.

Boris Johnson is also jostling to become the Brexiteers’ choice ? and has been (1)偽造する/(2)徐々に進むing links with the DUP to try to 上げる his chances.

追跡(する) 支援するd as he pivots to Hard Brexit?

Foreign 長官 Jeremy 追跡(する) is 伸び(る)ing support from Brexiteers for a 攻撃する at No 10 because they believe he could 配達する a harder EU 出口 than Theresa May.

One party grandee told The Mail on Sunday that they would ‘put him in 負かす/撃墜するing Street’ if he led the char ge for their preferred 出口 条件.

Mr 追跡(する) is understood to be open to the ‘managed No 取引,協定’ model that would see Britain 涙/ほころび up Theresa May’s 取引,協定 and instead 支払う/賃金 Brussels £20 billion for a two-year 出口 段階, designed to 避ける a cliff 辛勝する/優位.

One Brexiteer said: ‘He is playing a clever game and has come a long way from calling for a second 国民投票 a few years ago.

‘If he keeps it up, there will be some serious movement toward him,’ they 追加するd.

によれば one source, the DUP have even been ‘led to believe’ that the former Foreign 長官 would 復帰させる direct 支配する of Northern Ireland from London to 解決する the 行き詰まるd political 状況/情勢 in the 州 ? although friends of Mr Johnson say that they were ‘not aware’ of any such discussions.

The fourth Brexiteer 候補者 is Andrea Leadsom. The ありふれたs Leader, who 長,率いるd the ‘pizza club’ of 閣僚 大臣s 懐疑的な of Mrs May’s Brexit 取引,協定, imploded during her last leadership 企て,努力,提案 in 2016 when she 刺激するd fury by 暗示するing that she would make a better 首相 than Mrs May because she had children.

But on Tuesday evening she gathered supportive MPs for a dinner where she let it be known that she would be 試みる/企てるing another 攻撃する at No 10 when Mrs May stands 負かす/撃墜する.

A source said: ‘Andrea made it (疑いを)晴らす she would not be stepping aside without a fight, but it is 高度に ありそうもない she will get anywhere 近づく the requisite level of support after what happened last time.’

上級の Brexiteers have 率直に discussed their 願望(する) to stop Mrs Leadsom ever running again and instead 計画(する) to 持つ/拘留する a ‘Brexiteer 最初の/主要な’ to try to 部隊 behind a 選び出す/独身 候補者 to give them the best chance of getting a ‘true 信奉者’ into No 10.

同盟(する)s of Mrs Leadsom have 警告するd her against ‘splitting the Brexiteer 投票(する)’, as happened during the 2016 leadership 選挙, 許すing Theresa May to come through the middle. Last night a spokeswoman for Mrs Leadsom did not 否定する Tuesday’s dinner, but said: ‘Andrea 定期的に 会合,会うs 同僚s from across the party.’

一方/合間, No 10 has become ますます irritated with Home 長官 Sajid Javid’s 拒絶 to defend the 政府 in the マスコミ. And he has 警告するd: ‘We have a team looking at this now rather than doing it 出来事/事件 by 出来事/事件, which is the 伝統的な way.’

He told MPs he was 主要な an ‘知能-led 査定/評価 approach to identify patterns, タイミングs, etc, ーするために enable us to have a better chance of identifying the prolific 犯人s’.

The MoS understands Mr Sedwill 計画(する)s to raise the 安全 分類 of 閣僚 minutes and letters written between departments from ‘極度の慎重さを要する’ to ‘Secret’, meaning they would be printed on pink paper to stop them 存在 slipped away, or only 循環させるd on an encrypted computer system.

A Whitehall insider told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I’m not sure people have realised the 大規模な 関わりあい/含蓄s of this yet, and it’s typical of the securocrats that the PM has surrou nded herself with.’

The move would 劇的な 削除する the number of 政府 助言者s who can see what is going on around the 閣僚 (米)棚上げする/(英)提議する as the 詳細(に述べる)s would be 制限するd to only those with 深い Vetting ? a rigorous 安全 background search reserved for 上級の 公式の/役人s.

Mr Raab 拒絶する/低下するd to comment. Friends of Mr Davis 否定する any 緊張s with Mr Raab.
