'One high jumper could be taller and have longer 脚s than another, but the other could have perfect form, and then do better,' she said.?

The Connecticut 協会 of Schools-Connecticut Interscholastic 運動競技の 会議／協議会, which 治める／統治するs high school sports in Connecticut, says its 政策 follows a 明言する／公表する anti-差別 法律 that says students must be 扱う／治療するd in school by the gender with which they identify.

'This is about someone's 権利 to compete,' (n)役員／(a)執行力のある director Glenn Lungarini said.?

'I don't think this is that different from other classes of people, who, in the not too distant past, were not 許すd to compete. I think it's going to take education and understanding to get to that point on this 問題／発行する.'

Joanna Harper, a 医療の physicist and transgender 走者 from Portland, Oregon, says the 問題／発行する isn't that simple. She believes there needs to be a 基準 based on hormone levels.

Until hormone therapies begin to work, genetic males have a 際立った advantage over genetic 女性（の）s, she said. Most transgender teens don't begin hormone therapy until after puberty. Younger teens can be on puberty-封鎖するing 麻薬s, but puberty is very individualized and testosterone levels can 変化させる 大いに from one transgender girl to another, she said.

Transgender girls who are not taking hormone 治療s 関係のある to gender 移行 may not compete in 女性（の） 競争s, the organization said.
