What is the EHRC?

The Equality and Human 権利s （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限 was 始める，決める up by Tony Blair in 2007, taking on the 役割s of the （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限 for Racial Equality, the Equal 適切な時期s （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限 and the Disability 権利s （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限. The 監視者 調査／捜査するs public 団体／死体s to 確実にする they are not 差別するing people on grounds of age, 性の orientation, race, 宗教, sex or disability.

What is the 調査（する） about?

The EHRC 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑うs the 労働 Party may have committed 'unlawful 行為／法令／行動するs' in relation to 主張s of anti-Semitism. It told the party in March that it had received （民事の）告訴s, and yesterday it 開始する，打ち上げるd a formal 調査 into whether the party has 'unlawfully 差別するd against, 悩ますd or victimised people because they are ユダヤ人の'.

What will it look at?

The 調査 will have four 立ち往生させるs:

  • Whether unlawful 行為／法令／行動するs have been committed;
  • The steps 労働 has taken to 器具／実施する 報告（する）／憶測s on anti-Semitism by the ありふれたs home 事件／事情／状勢s select 委員会, Shami Chakrabarti and Baroness Royall, who looked at anti-Semitism in Oxford University's 労働 student party;
  • Whether the party's investigatory and disciplinary 過程s 取引，協定 効果的に with （民事の）告訴s of race or 宗教 差別, 含むing whether appropriate 許可／制裁s have been 適用するd;
  • Whether the party has 答える／応じるd to （民事の）告訴s in a 'lawful, efficient and 効果的な manner'.

How long will it take?

The EHRC said only that it will 結論する the 調査（する） 'as quickly as possible'.

Who will be interviewed?

The 監視者 said it will interview 'anyone who we think has 関連した （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） to the 調査'. ユダヤ人の groups 推定する／予想する it to speak to 労働 leader Jeremy Corbyn and the party's general 長官 Jennie Formby.

What 力／強力にするs does the EHRC have?

This is not a 犯罪の 調査, and 捜査官／調査官s will not be considering whether 罪，犯罪s have been committed. Has the 監視者 used its 力／強力にするs before?

Only once against a 政党 ? when it took 合法的な a ction against the far-権利 British 国家の Party. The EHRC said the BNP 憲法 違反d 差別 法律s because of a 条項 banning 非，不，無-white members. The 監視者 started 法廷，裁判所 活動／戦闘 and the party was 軍隊d to rewrite its 会員の地位 支配するs.

Richard Burgon MP 宣言するd on 誓い that he did not believe Zionism was the 'enemy of peace' ? only three months before a ビデオ 現れるd 証明するing he did. 労働's 司法（官） 広報担当者 had last year 否定するd making the comment after it was exposed by the Mail in 2016.

Jeremy Corbyn last week 問題／発行するd a message to a group called 'British イスラム教徒s for Corbyn' whose Facebook page is littered with anti-Semitic tropes. It is not 示唆するd Mr Corbyn knew of or supported the comments on the group's page.

A party member from Luciana Berger's Liverpool Wavertree 選挙区／有権者 attacked 使用者s on Twitter who …に反対するd anti-Semitism. He had 以前 been 一時停止するd from 労働 and 問題／発行するd with a 警告 for sending abusive messages to several 労働 MPs, but was then 許すd 支援する into the party last April and no その上の 活動／戦闘 was taken.

In June 2017, a member of 勢い's steering 委員会 株d a message 告発する／非難するing Saudi Arabia of 存在 in thrall to 'Zionist paymasters'. Apsana Begum later apologised.

行動主義者 Kayla Bibby 株d a picture of an 外国人 耐えるing the 星／主役にする of David choking the Statue of Liberty but escaped 中断 from her party as image was 'not anti-ユダヤ人の'.

Mr Corbyn gave his support to graffiti artist Mear One who painted a mural in London portraying several known anti-Semitic tropes in 2012, 説 he was 'in good company'. He later 譲歩するd he had been wrong.

A member repeated abusive 地位，任命するs about Mrs Smeeth and had 以前 been 一時停止するd by the party. But she 直面するd no 活動／戦闘 as 公式の／役人s decided she was 'not someone engaging in anti-Semitism'.

In a letter to the chairman of the Equality and Human 権利s （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限, the 団体／死体's 長官-general, Harun 旅宿泊所, said he believed there is '十分な 証拠' to 示唆する there is a 'prima facie 事例／患者 to answer of systemic unlawful 行為／法令／行動するs' by the party.
