The 広大な/多数の/重要な hate 罪,犯罪 HOAX: Britain is one of the most tolerant places on Earth. So why, asks author DOUGLAS MURRAY, do police pretend we're in the 支配する of 記録,記録的な/記録する wave of vile attacks by bigots?

Do you feel ten per cent more hateful than you did this time last year? Do you think the British public as a whole are ten per cent more unpleasant in 2019 as compared to 2018?

If you believe the 最新の ‘hate 罪,犯罪s’ stats, then you may come to such a ludicrous 結論.

人物/姿/数字s 収集するd by the Home Office (人命などを)奪う,主張する that there were 103,379 hate 罪,犯罪s committed last year. A 記録,記録的な/記録する number, and up ten per cent on the year before. さまざまな (選挙などの)運動をする groups disguised as charities 主張する that this is 単に ‘the tip of the iceberg’.

To which one might say 簡単に: ‘Of course they do.’ For if you are sane and reasonable you will realise that all of this is nonsense ? nonsense, in fact, of the purest, most disgraceful 肉親,親類d: professional nonsense, cooked up to serve a political 目的.

It is time that 目的 was identified and 指名するd.

The 創立/基礎s of the hate 罪,犯罪 hoax started 20 years ago with the Macpherson 報告(する)/憶測 on the 殺人 of the 黒人/ボイコット 十代の少年少女 Stephen Lawrence. 同様に as its good 影響s, that 調査 had a number of 消極的な consequences. Two stand out. The first was that an offence against a person of 性の or 民族の 少数,小数派 became a 罪,犯罪 of greater 真面目さ than a 罪,犯罪 against someone of no 少数,小数派 group.

So if an old woman was 攻撃する,衝突する over the 長,率いる for her purse, that was just a 罪,犯罪. But if someone who was gay or 黒人/ボイコット was 攻撃する,衝突する over the 長,率いる then that was not just a 罪,犯罪 but a hate 罪,犯罪. A two-tier system of offence was created in which some 罪,犯罪s (with an 同一の 影響 upon the 犠牲者) were みなすd worse than others.

Doreen and Neville Lawrence, the parents of murdered black teenager Stephen. Doreen Lawrence can be seen holding the Macpherson report which stated that a crime was a hate crime if it was??perceived by the victim or any other person as being motivated by malice or ill-will towards a social group?

Doreen and Neville Lawrence, the parents of 殺人d 黒人/ボイコット 十代の少年少女 Stephen. Doreen Lawrence can be seen 持つ/拘留するing the Macpherson 報告(する)/憶測 which 明言する/公表するd that a 罪,犯罪 was a hate 罪,犯罪 if it was?‘perceived by the 犠牲者 or any other person as 存在 動機づけるd by malice or ill-will に向かって a social group’

But the second 開発 was more 損失ing, still: Macpherson 明言する/公表するd that a 罪,犯罪 was a hate 罪,犯罪 if it was ‘perceived by the 犠牲者 or any other person as 存在 動機づけるd by malice or ill-will に向かって a social group’.

So if I get 攻撃する,衝突する over the 長,率いる I might be the 犠牲者 of a bog-基準 罪,犯罪. But if I am 攻撃する,衝突する over the 長,率いる and think, or pretend to think, that it is because of my homosexuality, then we are in the realm not just of 罪,犯罪 but of hate 罪,犯罪. And that means the サイレン/魅惑的なs of the modern police 軍隊 can really go off.

In the years since the Macpherson 報告(する)/憶測, the British police have done everything they can to 証明する that they are on the (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域 with this new orthodoxy.

They don’t just want to find hate 罪,犯罪s. They need to find hate 罪,犯罪s. Some years ago a friend of 地雷 was accosted on a train late at night by a couple of rowdy drunks. 報告(する)/憶測ing the 事柄 to police at the next 駅/配置する, the officers 前向きに/確かに begged him to 報告(する)/憶測 it (once they 設立する out he was gay) as a ‘hate 罪,犯罪’. He 主張するd that there was no such element to their 乱用. The police seemed desperate to 説得する him さもなければ.

That is just one of the 推論する/理由s why the 統計(学) on hate 罪,犯罪s keep going up and up. The police want them. They want to be able to 報告(する)/憶測 them. They 前向きに/確かに advertise for them.

In 事例/患者 anyone thinks that is an exaggeration, consider the pathetic ビデオ 解放(する)d by DCC Julie Cooke of Cheshire Constabulary. It took the form of an online message for ‘pronoun day’, which she 述べるd as ‘a day which is 特に important to people who identify as transgender or gender 非,不,無-適合するing’. Cooke wittered on: ‘存在 misgendered can have a 抱擁する 衝撃 on somebody and their personal 井戸/弁護士席-存在. It can also be used as a form of 乱用.’

And here is one of the problems of this form of touting for 商売/仕事. The Home Office’s 統計(学) (人命などを)奪う,主張する that, in the past year, ‘transphobic hate 罪,犯罪s’ rose by 37 per cent. That is a pretty horrific number ? like all the other rising hate 罪,犯罪s numbers. Until you dig one centimetre beneath the surface. What 正確に/まさに 構成するs a transphobic hate 罪,犯罪? 殺人? Mugging? 押し込み強盗? 井戸/弁護士席, once again we have to remember that these 罪,犯罪s are in the 注目する,もくろむ of the beholder. And consider just one such beholder from only a few days ago.

DCC Julie Cooke of Cheshire Constabulary, pictured, released a 'pathetic' video for ?pronoun day?, in which she said 'being misgendered can have a huge impact on somebody and their personal well-being. It can also be used as a form of abuse'

Ria Cooper is a glamour model based in 船体, who ten years ago (at the age of 15) became Britain’s youngest transgender woman. Other than that, there is no 推論する/理由 why the nation 捕まらないで should have heard of her. Except that earlier this month it 現れるd that Ms Cooper recently 接触するd Humberside Police to tell them of a 始める,決める of WhatsApp messages she had received she was 報告(する)/憶測ing as ‘transphobic’. What were these messages? 井戸/弁護士席, they were from a photographer whom Cooper 告発する/非難するs of trying to scupper her modelling career.

The photographer 報道によれば pointed out that Cooper has a penis, which was not the sort of lady he was after. Cooper calls this ‘f****** disgusting behaviour’ and みなすd it ‘transphobic’. So there is another ‘hate 罪,犯罪’ just there.

Of course, (選挙などの)運動をするing groups long-ago cottoned on to the fact that all of this 控訴s their 利益/興味s. I suspct that いつかs that 利益/興味 is 商業の.

The remaining LGBT organisations in Britain have 比較して little to do with their time. Their 戦う/戦いs are 大部分は won, and 推定では their careers and 年金 計画(する)s are at 危険 from this success.

So ‘rising hate 罪,犯罪s’ must 供給する a 大規模な 商売/仕事 適切な時期 for these groups. Other groups also 利益 from this marketplace of grievance.

Last month, when 議会 returned to spend a couple more days bickering about Brexit, 労働 MPs used the 適切な時期 to attack the 総理大臣. On what? Why hate 罪,犯罪s of course. The ridiculous, fulminating MPs kept pretending that Britain is in the 中央 of a hate crimewave and that the PM himself is responsible.

労働 MP Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and others 主張するd that Boris’s column last year defending the 権利 of イスラム教徒 women to wear the burka (a column his op ponents deliberately misrepresented) in fact 原因(となる)d a ‘spike’ in anti-イスラム教徒 hate 罪,犯罪s. They (人命などを)奪う,主張する that such hate 罪,犯罪s rose 375 per cent in the week after his column.

Which sounds impressive until you realise this is a rise from eight 報告(する)/憶測d 出来事/事件s in a week to 38 報告(する)/憶測d 出来事/事件s. Scepticism has been 注ぐd on these 人物/姿/数字s.

労働 MPs who were attacking the 総理大臣 with these 偽の 統計(学) were only using the favoured 手段 of 最近の years.

For the fact is that since the Brexit 投票(する) there has been a 抱擁する number of ways in which people …に反対するd to the result have 攻撃する,非難するd the British public.

We have been cal led stupid, ignorant, gullible and more. But perhaps the favourite (人命などを)奪う,主張する of all has been the (人命などを)奪う,主張する that the Brexit 投票(する) 抑えるのをやめるd a 高潮,津波 of hate in the British public. Anti-Brexit 選挙運動者s 繰り返して pretended that the 悲劇の 殺人 of a ポーランドの(人) man called Arek Jozwik in Harlow in August 2016 was a result of the 国民投票. The resulting 裁判,公判 設立する that the 殺人 was a squalid and mundane event with no link どれでも to Brexit. But that is par for the course.

In the wake of the 国民投票 there have been (人命などを)奪う,主張するs that British 投票者s celebrated the result by a wave of hate 罪,犯罪s against 民族の and 性の 少数,小数派s. Nothing could be その上の from the truth. There is no country in the world more tolerant than this one. Yet time and again in the past 20 years ? and never more so than since the 国民投票 ? we have been 名誉き損,中傷d and smeared.

Political 選挙運動者s have used 偽の 統計(学) to 押し進める their own political and sectarian 利益/興味s. It is time that people 指名するd and shamed the smear-merchants. There are bigots out there, as there are in every country. But this is not a bigoted country. And we have the 権利 to 投票(する) how we want to 投票(する) without 存在 defamed as such.

If there was one wave all sensible people should wish for in the 近づく 未来 it should be a wave of scepticism about the (人命などを)奪う,主張するs of 選挙運動者s whose only 利益/興味 is in doing 負かす/撃墜する this country.

A country which has 正当と認められる pride in our 寛容 and should 演習 a healthy dose of scepticism に向かって our critics.
