Tens?of thousands of terrified dementia 患者s 危険 存在 ‘abandoned to coronavirus’ 予定 to the 危機 in care homes.?

The Alzheimer’s Society said at least half of care homes were 報告（する）／憶測ing 事例／患者s of the ウイルス and dozens of 居住（者）s had died since the 突発／発生 began. But the 政府 has failed to roll out 実験（する）s to homes, with 年輩の 居住（者）s 恐れるing they have been ‘forgotten’ and are 存在 非難するd to death.

Tony?Claydon has been married to Pauline for 49 years, but 恐れるs he will never see her again and won’t be there to 持つ／拘留する her 手渡す when she dies.?

Mrs Claydon, 71, was 診断するd with dementia ten years ago and is in a care home, unable to walk or talk.?

She was placed on palliative care in November and Mr Claydon visited her every day, 持つ／拘留するing her 手渡す and helping with activities such as feeding and drinking.?

Mr Claydon, 75 , said: ‘I 本気で think there is a chance that the last time I saw Pauline, before the lockdown, could be the last time I ever see her.?

‘I worry that she will feel alone. She won’t understand what is going on. I am not there to 安心させる her.?

'I think the home is having real problems with staff 存在 off sick or self-孤立するing. It is so upsetting.’?

マイク Padgham, who runs Saint Cecilia’s Care Services in Yorkshire, said six 患者s had died of coronavirus and staff had been left in 涙／ほころびs. He 追加するd: ‘We just lost two 患者s in very の近くに succession, it makes you think everything is 落ちるing apart.?
