A former 保守的な MP 'lied' to the 弁護士／代理人／検事 general as he 'hid behind' him to 保護する himself from sex 強襲，強姦 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs, a 法廷，裁判所 has heard.
検察官，検事s today （人命などを）奪う，主張するd Charlie Elphicke used his friend, Dominic Grieve, to 保護する him when 召喚するd to speak to 上級の party 人物／姿／数字s about 主張s made about him, without telling Mr Grieve he had propositioned a 議会の 労働者.

Elphicke is （刑事）被告 of sexually 強襲，強姦ing the 従業員, in her 早期に 20s, twice in 2016, and is also 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with groping a woman in his home in 2007 while Natalie Elphicke, his wife and 後継者 as Dover MP, was away on work 商売／仕事 for the first time since giving birth to their son.

Today, 賠審員s heard that Elphicke?decided to change his defence in his 性の 強襲，強姦 裁判，公判 during lockdown after his 合法的に trained wife pored over 証拠 in the 事例／患者.
検察官，検事 Eloise Marshall QC said it was only during the coronavirus pandemic, when Elphicke said papers relating to the 事例／患者 were strewn around his home, that he 'realised the lies' he had told to police could be disproved.???
Elphicke 認める to police in 2018 that he had an 事件／事情／状勢 with a third woman - not a 原告，告訴人 in this 裁判，公判 - but distanced himself from the 議会の 労働者. He said he kissed the first 原告，告訴人 under 'misapprehension' but 否定するs 性の 強襲，強姦.
However, entering the 証言，証人／目撃する box at Southwark 栄冠を与える 法廷，裁判所 this week, Elphicke told 賠審員s he had lied to police about his true feelings for the 議会の 労働者, 説 he was 'besotted' with her and 'lost his 長，率いる'.
He said he did not tell police about propositioning her because he was 関心d Mrs Elphicke would - wrongly - think he was having an 事件／事情／状勢 and that it would 効果的に be the final straw for their marriage.

Elphicke told 賠審員s it was only when his wife, who is not a 証言，証人／目撃する in the 事例／患者, was going over text messages between her husband and the young woman during lockdown that she （刑事）被告 him of having an 事件／事情／状勢, partly 予定 to kisses on text messages and a 言及／関連 to 'cat cuddles', he said.
Ms Marshall 述べるd it as 'a pack of lies', 特記する／引用するing only three kisses in more than 1,000 texts between them.
She told the 49-year-old father-of-two: 'It was only when you and wife went under lockdown you realised the lies you had told about (the 議会の 労働者) could be disproved.
'You're boxed into a corner and you've got no other choice.
'It's not (the first and seco nd 原告，告訴人) who've lied, it's you who's lied.'
Elphicke was also （刑事）被告 of using his friend, former 弁護士／代理人／検事 general Dominic Grieve, to 保護する him when 召喚するd to speak to 上級の party 人物／姿／数字s about the 主張s, without telling Mr Grieve he had propositioned the 議会の 労働者
Elphicke said: 'No, I didn't - I didn't sexually 強襲，強姦 (either woman).'
The 検察官，検事 said: 'You sexually 強襲，強姦d both of them in the way they have 述べるd, didn't you?'
Elphicke replied: 'No.'?
The 検察官，検事 also （刑事）被告 Elphicke of using Mr Grieve to 保護する him when the 主張s first arose and that he hadn't told him he had propositioned the 議会の 労働者.
Ms Marshall said: 'You hid behind the former 弁護士／代理人／検事 general having lied to him about what happened with (the woman).'
Elphicke replied: 'I did not 嘘（をつく） to him.'
