This is 僕主主義's day, a day of history and hope, of 再開 and 解決する. Through a crucible for the ages, America has been 実験（する）d もう一度. And America has rise n to the challenge. Today we celebrate the 勝利, not of a 候補者, but of a 原因（となる）, the 原因（となる） of 僕主主義. The people, the will of the people, has been heard, and the will of the people has been 注意するd.

We've learned again that 僕主主義 is precious. 僕主主義 is 壊れやすい. And at this hour, my friends, 僕主主義 has 勝つ／広く一帯に広がるd.?

So now, on this hallowed ground, where just a few days ago 暴力／激しさ sought to shake the （ワシントンの）連邦議会議事堂's very 創立／基礎, we come together as one nation under God, indivisible, to carry out the 平和的な 移転 of 力／強力にする as we have for more than two centuries. As we look ahead in our uniquely American way, restless, bold, 楽観的な, and 始める，決める our sights on the nation we know we can be and we must be.

I thank my 前任者s of both parties for their presence here today. I thank them from the 底（に届く） of my heart. And I know, and I know the resilience of our 憲法 and the strength, the strength of our nation, as does 大統領 Carter who I spoke with last night, who cannot be with us today, but whom we salute for his lifetime in service.

I've just taken the sacred 誓い each of those 愛国者s have taken. The 誓い first sworn by George Washington. But the American story depends not on any one of us, not on some of us, but on all of us, on we the people, who 捜し出す a more perfect union. This is a 広大な／多数の／重要な nation. We are good people. And over the centuries, through 嵐／襲撃する and 争い, in peace and in war, we've come so far, but we still have far to go.

We'll 圧力（をかける） 今後 with 速度(を上げる） and 緊急, for we have much to do in this winter of 危険，危なくする and 重要な 可能性s. Much to 修理, much to 回復する, much to 傷をいやす／和解させる, much to build, and much to 伸び（る）. Few people in our nation's history have been more challenged or 設立する a time more challenging or difficult than the time we're in now.

Once in a century viru s that silently stalks the country. It's taken as many lives in one year as America lost in all of World War II. Millions of 職業s have been lost, hundreds of thousands of

商売／仕事s の近くにd, a cry for racial 司法（官） some 400 years in the making moves us. The dream of 司法（官） for all will be deferred no longer.?

A cry for 生き残り comes from 惑星 itself. A cry that can't be any more desperate or any more （疑いを）晴らす, and now a rise of political extremism, white 最高位, 国内の テロ行為 that we must 直面する and we will 敗北・負かす.?

To 打ち勝つ these challenges, to 回復する the soul and 安全な・保証する the 未来 of America, 要求するs so much more than words. It 要求するs the most elusive of all things in a 僕主主義, まとまり. まとまり. In another January, on New Year's Day in 1863, Abraham Lincoln 調印するd the emancipation 布告／宣言. When he put pen to paper, the 大統領，／社長 said, and I 引用する, 'if my 指名する ever goes 負かす／撃墜する into history, it'll be for this 行為／法令／行動する, and my whole soul is in it.'

'My whole soul is in it.' Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: bringing America together, 部隊ing our people, 部隊ing our nation. And I ask every American to join me in this 原因（となる）.?

部隊ing to fight the 敵s we 直面する, 怒り／怒る, 憤慨 and 憎悪, extremism, lawlessness, 暴力／激しさ, 病気, joblessness and hopelessness. With まとまり, we can do 広大な／多数の／重要な things, important things.

We can 権利 wrongs. We can put people to work in good 職業s. We can teach our children in 安全な schools. We can 打ち勝つ the deadly ウイルス. We can reward -- reward work and 再構築する the middle class and make health care 安全な・保証する for all. We can 配達する racial 司法（官） and we can make America once again the 主要な 軍隊 for good in the world.

I know speaking of まとまり can sound to some like a foolish fantasy these days. I know that the 軍隊s that div ide us are 深い and they are real. But I also know they are not new. Our history has been a constant struggle between the American ideal that we all are created equal, and the 厳しい ugly reality that 人種差別主義, nativism, 恐れる, demonization have long torn us apart.

The 戦う／戦い is perennial, and victory is never 保証するd. Through civil war, the 広大な／多数の／重要な 不景気, World War, 9/11, through struggle, sacrifices, and 後退s, our better angels have always 勝つ／広く一帯に広がるd. In each of these moments, enough of us -- enough of us -- have come together to carry all of us 今後, and we can do that now.

History, 約束, and 推論する／理由 show the way, the way of まとまり. We can see each other, not as adversaries, but as neighbors. We can 扱う／治療する each other with dignity and 尊敬（する）・点. We can join 軍隊s, stop the shouting, and lower the 気温. For without まとまり, there is no peace, only bitterness and fury.

No 進歩, only exhausting 乱暴／暴力を加える. No nation, only a 明言する／公表する of 大混乱. This is our historic moment of 危機 and challenge, and まとまり is the path 今後. And we must 会合，会う this moment as the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs of America. If we do that, I 保証（人） you, we will not fail. We have never, ever, ever, ever failed in America when we've 行為／法令／行動するd together.

And so today, at this time, in this place, let's start afresh, all of us. Let's begin to listen to one another again.

Hear one another. See one another. Show 尊敬（する）・点 to one another. Politics doesn't have to be a 激怒（する）ing 解雇する／砲火／射撃, destroying everything in its path. Every 不一致 doesn't have to be a 原因（となる） for total war. And we must 拒絶する the culture in which facts themselves are manipulated, and even 製造（する）d.?

My fellow Americans, we have to be different than this. America has to be better than this, and I believe America is so much better than this. Just look around. Here we stand, in the 影をつくる／尾行する of the （ワシントンの）連邦議会議事堂 ドーム, as it was について言及するd earlier, 完全にするd まっただ中に the civil war, when the union itself was literally hanging in the balance. Yet, we 耐えるd. We 勝つ／広く一帯に広がるd.

Here we stand, looking out on the 広大な／多数の／重要な 商店街 where Dr. King spoke of his dream. Here we stand where, 108 years ago at another 就任の, thousands of 抗議する人s tried to 封鎖する 勇敢に立ち向かう women marching for the 権利 to 投票（する）. And today, we 示す the 断言するing of the first woman in American history elected to 国家の office, 副大統領 Kamala Harris.

Don't tell me things can't change!

Here we stand, across the Potomac, from Arlington 共同墓地, where heroes who gave the last 十分な 手段 of devotion, 残り／休憩（する） in eternal peace. And here we stand, just days after a riotous 暴徒 thought they could use 暴力／激しさ to silence the will of the people, to stop the work of our 僕主主義, to 運動 us from this sacred ground. It did not happen. It will never happen. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever. Not ever.?

To all those who supported our （選挙などの）運動をする, I'm humbled by the 約束 you've placed in us. To all of those who did not support us, let me say this. Hear me out as we move 今後. Take a 手段 of me and my heart.

If you still 同意しない, so be it. That's 僕主主義. That's America. The 権利 to dissent peaceably. Within the guardrails of our 共和国, it's perhaps this nation's greatest strength. Yet hear me 明確に, 不一致 must not lead to disunion. And I 誓約（する） this to you, I will be a 大統領，／社長 for all Americans, all Americans.?

And I 約束 you, I will fight as hard for those who did not support me as for those who did.?

Many centuries ago, St. Augustine, a saint in my church, wrote that a people was a multitude defined by the ありふれた 反対するs of their love. Defined by the ありふれた 反対するs of their love. What are the ありふれた 反対するs we as Americans love, that define us as Americans?

I think we know. 適切な時期, 安全, liberty, dignity, 尊敬（する）・点, 栄誉（を受ける） and, yes, the truth. The 最近の weeks and months have taught us a painful lesson. There is truth and there are lies, lies told for 力／強力にする and for 利益（をあげる）.

And each of us has a 義務 and a 責任／義務 as 国民s, as Americans, and 特に as leaders, leaders who have 誓約（する）d to 栄誉（を受ける） our 憲法 and 保護する our nation, to defend the truth and 敗北・負かす the lies.

Look, I understand that many of my fellow Americans 見解（をとる） the 未来 with 恐れる and trepidation. I understand they worry about their 職業s. I understand like my dad, they lay in bed wondering, can I keep my health care, can I 支払う／賃金 my mortgage. Thinking about their families, about what comes next. I 約束 you, I get it.

But the answer is not to turn inward, to 退却／保養地 into competing 派閥s, 不信ing those who don't look like -- look like you or worship the way you do or don't get their news from the same source as you do. We must end this uncivil war that 炭坑，オーケストラ席s red against blue, 田舎の versus -- 田舎の versus 都市の, 保守的な versus 自由主義の. We can do this if we open our souls instead of hardening our hearts.

If we show a little 寛容 and humility, and if we are willing to stand in the other person's shoes -- as my mom would say -- just for a moment, stand in their shoes. Because here's the thing about life: there's no accounting for what 運命／宿命 will 取引，協定 you.

Some days, when you need a 手渡す. There are other days when we're called to lend a 手渡す. That's how it has to be. That's what we do for one another.

And if we are this way, our country will be stronger, more 繁栄する, more ready for the 未来. And we can still 同意しない. My fellow Americans, in the work ahead of us, we're going to need each other . We need all our strength to 保存する -- to persevere through this dark winter. We're entering what may be the toughest and deadliest period of the ウイルス.

We must 始める，決める aside politics and finally 直面する this pandemic as one nation, one nation. And I 約束 you this. As the Bible says, 'weep, ye may 耐える for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' We will get through this together. Together. Look, folks, all my 同僚s that I served with in the house and the 上院 up here, we all understand, the world is watching, watching all of us today. So here's my message to those beyond our 国境s.

America has been 実験（する）d, and we've come out stronger for it. We will 修理 our 同盟s and engage with the world once again. Not to 会合，会う yesterday's challenges, but today's and tomorrow's challenges.?

And we'll lead not 単に by the example of our 力／強力にする, but by the 力／強力にする of our example. We'll be a strong and 信用d partner for peace, 進歩, and 安全.

Look, you all know, we've been through so much in this nation. In my first 行為／法令／行動する as 大統領，／社長, I'd like to ask you to join me in a moment of silent 祈り to remember all those who we lost in this past year to the pandemic, those 400,000 fellow Americans -- moms, dads, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, friends, neighbors, and co-労働者s. We'll 栄誉（を受ける） them by becoming the people and the nation we know we can and should be.

So, I ask you, let's say a silent 祈り for those who have lost their lives and those left behind and for our country.

Amen. Folks, this is a time of 実験（する）ing. We 直面する an attack on our 僕主主義 and on truth. A 激怒（する）ing ウイルス, growing inequity, the sting of systemic 人種差別主義, a 気候 in 危機. America's 役割 in the world. Any one of these would be enough to challenge us in 深遠な ways. But the fact is, we 直面する them all at once. 現在のing this nation with one of the gravest 責任／義務s we've had. Now we're going to be 実験（する）d.

Are we going to step up, all of us? It's time for boldness, for there is so much to do. And this is 確かな . I 約束 you, we will be 裁判官d, you and I, by how we 解決する these cascading crises of our 時代. We will rise to the occasion, is the question. Will we master this rare and difficult hour?

Will we 会合，会う our 義務s, and pass along a new and better world to our children? I believe we must. I'm sure you do 同様に. I believe we will. And when we do, we'll 令状 the next 広大な／多数の／重要な 一時期／支部 in the history of the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs of America, the American story, a story that might sound something like a song that means a lot to me. It's called 'American 国家.' And there's one 詩（を作る） that stands out, at least for me.

And it goes like this: 'The work and 祈りs of centuries have brought us to this day. What shall be our 遺産／遺物? What will our children say? Let me know in my heart when my days are through. America, America, I gave my best to you.' Let's 追加する. Let's, us, 追加する our own work and 祈りs to the 広げるing story of our 広大な／多数の／重要な nation.

If we do this, then when our days are through, our children and our children's children will say of us, they gave their best, they did their 義務, they 傷をいやす／和解させるd a broken land. My fellow Americans, I の近くに the day where I began, with a sacred 誓い before God and all of you. I give you my word, I will always level with you. I will defend the 憲法. I'll defend our 僕主主義. I'll defend America.

And I'll give all, all of you, keep everything you -- I do in your service, thinking not of 力／強力にする but of 可能性s, not of personal 傷害s but the public good. And together we shall 令状 an American story of hope, not 恐れる. Of まとまり, not 分割. Of light, not 不明瞭. A story of decency and dignity, love and 傷をいやす／和解させるing, greatness and goodness .

May this be the story that guides us, the story that 奮起させるs us, and the story that tells ages yet to come that we answered the call of history, we met the moment. 僕主主義 and hope, truth and 司法（官）, did not die on our watch, but 栄えるd, that America 安全な・保証するd liberty at home and stood once again as a beacon to the world. That is what we 借りがある our forebears, one another, and 世代s to follow.

So, with 目的 and 解決する, we turn to those 仕事d of our time, 支えるd by 約束, driven by 有罪の判決, and 充てるd to one another and the country we love with all our hearts. May God bless America and may God 保護する our 軍隊／機動隊s. Thank you, America.?
