Philip Larkin will be ‘turning in his 墓／厳粛／彫る／重大な’ over a 最近の 決定／判定勝ち（する） to 合併する his former school with a 競争相手 会・原則, it was （人命などを）奪う，主張するd last night.

The poet, who …に出席するd the 476-year-old King Henry VIII (KHVIII) School in Coventry during the 1930s and 1940s, would be ‘astounded’ to learn that it is to be 合併するd with its even older 競争相手, Bablake School, によれば a former headmaster.

George Fisher, headmaster of KHVIII from 2000 to 2010 and subsequently a lead 視察官 in the 独立した・無所属 Schools Inspectorate, 非難するd the 合併 as a ‘crazy idea’.

‘These are two schools on opposite 味方するs of Coventry which each have literally hundreds of years of their own separate history, ethos and traditions,’ he told The Mail on Sunday. ‘They compete tooth and nail on the netball 法廷，裁判所 or rugby field and 利益 from a healthy 競争.

‘But all of that will be lost in this 合併. Once you lose the individuality of a school, it’s not something you can ever get 支援する.

‘Parents of 現在の pupils don’t want to be told, “This is your only choice, like it or lump it.” And I think the sad reality is that many will lump it because it isn’t what they 調印するd up for.

‘This is akin to an 行為／法令／行動する of 教育の vandalism which will 永久的に 減らす two schools which have always been 高度に successful and unique in the 適切な時期s which they 供給する for children. Unsurprisingly, many 現在の pupils and their parents are angry.’

The CSF’s 計画（する） to rebrand both 会・原則s under the one 指名する ? ‘Coventry School’ ? has already 誘発するd an 即座の （激しい）反発. 知事s were 軍隊d to 支援する 負かす／撃墜する and the new school will now be called Bablake and King Henry VIII School (BKHS), which Mr Fisher said sounded ‘like some failed high street retailer’.

He 追加するd: ‘We think the whole thing is 存在 driven through relentlessly by a very small number of 知事s and staff at the 創立／基礎 office.’

Paul Fernandez-Montes, chairman of the Old Coventrians ? the King Henry VIII Former Pupils’ 協会 ? said that he had received ‘countless’ messages from ex-pupils 反対するing.

‘I’ve been 圧倒するd by the strength of feeling against the 提案するd 合併 and remain bewildered at the 欠如（する） of any 試みる／企てる by the 知事s to 供給する a proper justification for the 提案,’ he said.
