In February, former first 大臣 Alex Salmond said Mr Wolffe should 辞職する over his 役割 in the Scottish 政府's 扱うing of いやがらせ （民事の）告訴s against him.
Speaking before a Scottish 議会 調査 into the 事件／事情／状勢 in March, Mr Wolffe 否定するd any political 影響（力） relating to Mr Salmond's 犯罪の 起訴, which 最終的に saw him acquitted of 13 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s at Edinburgh's High 法廷，裁判所 last year.
