A couple who stayed in a 検疫 hotel have 明らかにする/漏らすd how they were served stale food they could barely eat and いつかs made to wait more than nine hours for it to be 配達するd to their room.
Muhammad Imran, 62, and his wife Tahira Sultana, 57, ガス/煙d that during their stay they were '扱う/治療するd like 囚人s' and when they complained to hotel staff about the 悲惨な meals they were told: 'You can always order a takeaway.'
Mr Imran and his wife spent 12 days at the Holiday Inn 表明する in Luton after arriving from Pakistan in June.
They were 軍隊d to 延長する their 義務的な 検疫 period of 10 days for arrivals from a red 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) country by an extra two days after Ms Sultana 実験(する)d 肯定的な for COVID-19 while at the hotel.
They paid a total of £3,050 for three people, with Mr Imran's sister Zaeema 株ing a room with them to save costs.

Mr Imran said they were served substandard meals (pictured) which 含むd 挟むs made from hard bread, oily fish fingers and 冷淡な bland vegetable curry throughout their stay and that いつかs they had to wait nine hours for meals

Mr Imran, from Romford, Essex told MailOnline: 'The food was disgusting - it was 冷淡な, stale and hard to swallow. It wasn't fit for an animal, never mind a human 存在.
'When we complained about it, the 態度 of the staff was horrendous. They didn't seem to care and just shrugged their shoulders and told us: 'You can always order a take-away.'
Ms Sultana 追加するd: 'We paid a lot of money for our stay and deserved better food and 尊敬(する)・点. The staff behaved like 刑務所,拘置所 wardens, and we were 扱う/治療するd like 囚人s. To be honest, you probably get better 治療 in 刑務所,拘置所.'

'We tried to save costs by 株ing a room with my sister. We had no choice over which hotel was 配分するd to us and ended up in a cramped room with lots of luggage. When I complained about the size of the room, the staff just said if I don't like it, I could go 支援する to Heathrow.'

'But like the 残り/休憩(する) of the staff he didn't seem that bothered. It was the hotel from hell and I'm so happy that I'm no longer there.'

Mr Imran said: 'We've kept the 法案s in the hope that we might get 補償(金) from CTM or the hotel but in truth, I don't think we'll get very far.
'It's impossible to get them to answer the phone and even when they do, they're not very helpful.
'I understand the need to 検疫 but it should be done 適切に. The 現在の system is just a money-making scam.'
The couple are amongst hundreds of people who have ven ted 怒り/怒る at their 検疫 hotel stays.
Many have taken to social マスコミ, with a special Facebook page 始める,決める up to 許す people to 株 their experiences.

Earlier this year, a family of three?complained of the '残忍な' 条件s at the same 検疫 hotel in Luton.
Shabana Shah and her children Rida, 15, and Raiyman, 20, had been holidaying in Dubai but were 軍隊d into 検疫 after they travelled home through Turkey 予定 to flight 取り消しs.
Ms Shah said her stay at the Holiday 表明する Inn hotel in Luton was 'awful' as they were 軍隊d to stay in one small room with all their luggage and she said the food was substandard.
When Sabana complained to hotel staff about the 条件s, she was told to 接触する Australian 会社/堅い 法人組織の/企業の Travel 管理/経営 (CTM) Ltd, which has the 契約 with the 政府.

With luggage taking up what little 床に打ち倒す space that is left, the trio have been 軍隊d to climb across a bed to get to the bathroom.
It is understood they could get an 付加 room at a その上の cost of £650 but 拒絶する/低下するd.
They family said they were permitted to leave for fresh 空気/公表する for only 15 minutes at a time.

And if they do, travellers have to 検疫 at home for ten days but they can be 解放(する)d after five days if they 支払う/賃金 for a PCR 実験(する).
Under the 提案, the 政府 advice will be dropped and fully-vaccinated UK 居住(者)s will be 許すd to travel home from amber countries without the need to 検疫. Children, who are not 適格の for ワクチン接種, will be 免除されたd from self-孤立/分離 if they are travelling with family. But they will have to take 付加 実験(する)s. 大臣s will finalise the 計画(する) for children tomorrow.
Those who have not received both ワクチンs will still have to 検疫 when they arrive in the UK or 直面する a £10,000 罰金.
The change will make no difference to red 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) countries such as India, Turkey and Brazil.
Anyone returning from a red 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) country must 検疫 in an 認可するd hotel at a cost of £1,750 each. People returning from amber 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) countries will also continue to have to 支払う/賃金 for a pre-flight 実験(する), followed by a second 実験(する) two days after their arrival home. But they will not have to 支払う/賃金 for a その上の 実験(する) eight days after they land as they do at 現在の.
