Winning mantra

The final day of an excellent 実験（する） summer for England and it was very 需要・要求するing. But not once did they wilt ― they 追跡（する）d all day for Indian wickets and were hell-bent on winning the series 4-0.

All day they were 説: ‘Get one and the 残り／休憩（する） will follow.’ They were relentless.

All 注目する，もくろむs were on 棒 Tucker for that lbw, but credit to him: he only saw a pair of pads, not an icon. He gave Tendulkar out without the DRS to help him, but even if Sachin had been able to review, he would still have been out. Good umpiring.

Master blaster

So の近くに for Sachin. He played beautifully and had an epic tussle with Graeme Swann, who fully deserved his six-wicket 運ぶ／漁獲高. But it was the little-used Tim Bresnan who created mayhem with that lbw. He’s ended the series with 16 wickets at 16 apiece. Not bad at all!

India have had some funny old 傷害s in this series, but has anything summed things up better than Virender Sehwag’s labyrinthitis? Which I’m told 概略で translates as ‘he’s gone in the lughole’.

All I can say is, it’s a good 職業 the same thing never happened to Andy Caddick.

Not 堅い enough

A tip for any budding young cricketers out there: don’t buy your pads at the same shop as Amit Mishra. He went 負かす／撃墜する like he’d been 攻撃する，衝突する by マイク Tyson after Jimmy Anderson struck him above the 膝 roll. Some news for you: it’s a big-boy’s game. It 傷つけるs every now and then.
