Thomas Cook 顧客s 軍隊d to collect tickets in London after 配達/演説/出産 fiasco

Hundreds of Thomas Cook 顧客s will have to join 列s in London to collect their Olympics tickets after the retailer failed to 配達する them in time for the Games.

Just two days before the 冒険的な event kicks off, Thomas Cook has recommended that 顧客s - who have already paid a £5 配達/演説/出産 料金 - 選ぶ up their tickets in the 資本/首都, いつかs just hours before their chosen event begins.

Aaron and Danielle Highley, who 調書をとる/予約するd tickets and a hotel through Thomas Cook, were told they would have to make their way to Marble Arch in West London, to 選ぶ up their tickets.

Mr Highley said: ‘I was told that their office would open at 8.00am.

‘But the handball event starts many miles away - and a 輸送(する) nightmare away - at 9.30am.

‘So we would have to travel into the centre of London, join a very long 列 then have 絶対 no chance of making it to the Olympic Park for the event we have paid to …に出席する.’

Mr Highley, from Woodbury in Devon, paid £250 for the break and tickets for him and his wife Danielle, 26.

‘We just 手配中の,お尋ね者 to experience the once-in-a-lifetime event,’ he said.

When his tickets failed to arrive, Mr Highley got in touch with Thomas Cook to find out why.

‘I spent more than an hour 持つ/拘留するing on an expensive phone line before anyone at Thomas Cook answered the phone,’ he said.

‘In his words he said “yes sir, there has been a major cock up”. He told me it was 大混乱.’

Richard Rolfe wrote: ‘Where are my Olympic Tickets. You don’t 答える/応じる to email, you keep me on the phone an hour...how do I get through?’

They later 追加するd: ‘Been on 持つ/拘留する to @ThomasCookUK 16 minutes listening to ‘wonderful world’. Without my Olympics tickets it most certainly is not.’

A spokeswoman for the 小旅行する 操作者 said: ‘Thomas Cook can 確認する that a small 割合 of its London 2012 顧客s have experienced 延期するs in receiving their Olympic tickets.

‘As a result, the company has 接触するd them to 確実にする tickets are able to be collected in London.

‘Our 優先 is to 確実にする our 顧客s take their seat at the Games.

‘Unfortunately, a very small 割合 have experienced a 延期する and we’ve 接触するd them all to 確認する collection of their tickets from a choice of 場所s in London.

We’d like to 繰り返し言う our 陳謝 for this 避けられない 延期する and 自然に we’re also refunding any 配達/演説/出産 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s already paid.’

The retailer said tickets could be collected on arrival, or 事前の to the event, at 場所s in central London, Heathrow and 近づく the Olympic Park. It also said it would look at individual 事例/患者s where people were left out of pocket by the problems.
