ゴルフ, glorious beaches and 巨大（な） tortoises: The 重要な to 緩和 in the Seychelles

Before I went to the Seychelles, I was a stranger to ゴルフ. I'm sure TV sports 公式発表s and the 支援する pages of newspapers all over the world are always 十分な of 報告（する）／憶測s about アイロンをかけるs, （船に）燃料を積み込む／（軍）地下えんぺい壕s and 競争s in far-flung places, but I'm afraid to say they have failed to leave an impression on me.

But after a trip to the Raffles 訴える手段／行楽地 on Praslin, I've been 変えるd. Praslin is the second-largest island of the Seychelles, lying about 25 miles north-east of the 資本／首都 Mah?. Praslin has some 素晴らしい 訴える手段／行楽地s and at Raffles, ゴルフ is a major attraction.

It seemed that no sooner had I arrived at the 訴える手段／行楽地 with my good friend コマドリ Chaplin than we were 長，率いるing off to the first tee with staff members Ollie and Titiana. The course, overlooking the sea, was 絶対 素晴らしい, and while we were thrashing a succession of balls into the rough, light 航空機 buzzed 総計費.

But of course there is much else to do in the Seychelles besides ゴルフ. On the nearby islands of La Digue and Curieuse,you can enjoy の近くに 遭遇（する）s with 巨大（な） tortoises. Until I saw them here, I imagined that these animals were unique to Ecuador, and I assumed it was impossible to get 近づく them. I was wrong: up の近くに they're so gentle and so very beautiful, and the people who come to see them are 平等に gentle and beautiful.

Coming to the Seychelles was an unusual holiday experience for me. I find it difficult to relax, so when I go away I tend to go trekking in South America or the ジャングルs of Malaysia ? where I get covered in leeches ? or I go climbing in the Blue Mountains in Australia. It's fair to say that I am an intrepid sort. Friends call me Dora the Explorer! And although I have been known to succumb to the 半端物 massage, I always make sure that it doesn't last more than 60 minutes, さもなければ I'm afraid I start getting a little restless.

I've been to five-星／主役にする places in the past, but my trip to the Raffles 訴える手段／行楽地 was my first real 発射 at 最高の-高級な, and amazingly, I 設立する I could relax for once. The 完全にする feeling of wellbeing was 生成するd by the 絶対の beauty of the Seychelles and the sheer 高級な of the 訴える手段／行楽地. And then there was the sublime service.

On Praslin, we just knew that staff were having as good a time 存在 of service as we were having 存在 served. When we 手配中の，お尋ね者 to go to the beach (率d one of the ten best in the world), staff would pack a beautiful picnic for us and take us there in a 4X4 ? 冷淡な water, 一面に覆う／毛布s, a picnic, a driver... what could be nicer?

As a plastic 外科医 and the presenter of BBC's The Truth About Looking Young, I see a lot of 強調する／ストレスd-out people. I recently did a 協議 with a woman where I told her she did not need 外科 or expensive 直面する creams. The 患者 was just tired, so I told her about the importance of eating 井戸／弁護士席 and looking after herself. Looking after yourself is not about 存在 idle ? it's about doing things that 濃厚にする you and make you feel better, happier and relaxed.

With that in mind, I tried some yoga while I was in the Seychelles. Doing the さまざまな 演習s while listening to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore and a 微風 rustling the trees was truly magical.

The spa setting at the Raffles was also 素晴らしい ? a real sensual idyll. As for the 治療s, I cannot recommend the 60-minute Sea 爆撃する Therapy 高度に enough. It must have been fantastic, because for the very first time in my spa life I fell asleep. I have no idea how staff did it, only that when I woke up I was soothed, smoothed and all my aches had mysteriously 緩和するd away.

近づく the end of my stay, I tried the ultimate indulgence ? a 90-minute Caviar Luxe Luminescence facial. I hadn't known I'd needed it until I saw the 改良 afterwards. And I broke my golden 支配する about not having a 治療 継続している more than an hour, so it must have been really special.

I'm a 抱擁する fan of natural beauty and nature. So while I enjoyed picnics on world-class white-sand beaches, and playing ゴルフ on the 惑星's most amazing course, my best experiences during the week were the excursions to Curieuse and La Digue to see 巨大（な） tortoises. I also loved seeing the primeval rainforest and the 巨大（な） coco de mer at Vallee de Mai, a Unesco 遺産 場所／位置 in Praslin.

When you choose a holiday, I think you should 計画（する） something you can be sure will be rewarding. Don't follow the example of my sister, who tends to go on holiday by leaving her house in the middle of the night (which means she's travelling when tired), and she comes 支援する at three in the morning before 長，率いるing 支援する to work six hours later.

I just think to myself: 'Where's the holiday?!' All you've had is an experience ? you've been somewhere and you've had your パスポート stamped ? but you 港／避難所't ended up in a different place 肉体的に, emotionally or spiritually. I think a good holiday should be 治療力のある for the soul.

So now I find myself thinking the 考えられない. While I love new experiences and I like exciting things, for the first time in my life I may go 支援する to the same holiday 場所 because my trip to the Seychelles was so special. I would go 支援する knowing that I could get myself together and be blissfully happy.

I think I would rather save up all my money and have one holiday like this every couple of years than have four, five or six 小型の-breaks which would 伴う／関わる just 動揺させるing through places.
