How to spend ￡100 in Hong Kong

When Hong Kong 逆戻りするd to Chinese 支配する in 1997,the fun didn't stop. If anything, this island city that was once part of the British Empire is now even more vibrant and dazzling than ever.

Chinese New Year (February 9) is one of the most rumbustious, crazy, colourful, noisy and just plain joyful 祝賀s on Earth. So where's the best place to welcome in the Year of the Rooster? No contest. 長，率いる for Hong Kong.

They celebrate the 広大な／多数の／重要な night with a parade of floats and dancing dragons. The city already 行う／開催する／段階s one of the most humungous 多数伝達媒体を用いる events anywhere - the Symphony of Lights, nightly at 8pm, which 構成するs enough 照明, music and narration, 始める，決める against 18 highrise city-centre buildings, to drain a 力／強力にする駅／配置する. From February 11 to 15, they crank up the dazzle - with '追加するd pyrotechnics'. The best 見解（をとる） is from the water.

OFF TO WOK Where do you start for Chinese cuisine? Try the 勝利者s of the 2004 Best of the Best Culinary Awards. Tai 支持を得ようと努める in Causeway Bay （機の）カム first for its crunchy shrimp ball and 小型の lobster casserole, followed by the Tung Lok Hin (egg white topped with bird nest, served with '1,000-year egg yolk' coated with shrimp paste).

Maxim's Golden 法廷，裁判所 impressed with sauteed beef slices with 甘い beans and lotus roots in hawthorn sauce.
