The UK's advertising 監視者 has banned adverts from two different car 製造者s that referred to their electric 乗り物s as '無 放出/発行s' as it continues to 厳重取締 on (人命などを)奪う,主張するs made about 殴打/砲列-力/強力にするd models.

The Advertising 基準s 当局 (ASA) said today it had upheld 判決,裁定s against BMW and MG モーター UK for 広告s that appeared on Google last year.

It said the both adverts had misled 消費者s by 示唆するing EVs do not produce 放出/発行s during the 製造業の 過程 - or when they're 存在 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d by 非,不,無-renewable electricity.?

On the same day, MG モーター UK also had a paid for Google advert which 明言する/公表するd: 'Find A 売買業者 ? 調書をとる/予約する A 実験(する) 運動. Save £1,000 On Your Next MG HS Plug-in Hybrid, MG ZS or MG5 EV トロフィー Long 範囲 新たにするd with a modern design, 増加するd 範囲, and even more 科学(工学)技術. 無 放出/発行s'.?

The ASA challenged whether the (人命などを)奪う,主張する '無 放出/発行s' misleadingly 代表するd the 乗り物s' 環境の 衝撃.?

This was 特に the 事例/患者 for the MG example, which was also advertising plug-in hybrid models which have a 補足の 石油 engine.?

'We understood that when electric 乗り物s were driven no 放出/発行s were produced, unlike a car with a 石油 or ディーゼル engine where 放出/発行s (機の)カム from the tailpipe.?

'However, in other circumstances, such as the 製造(する) or 非難する of an electric 乗り物 using electricity from the 国家の grid, 放出/発行s were 生成するd.?

'For that 推論する/理由 an 広告 that featured a '無 放出/発行s' (人命などを)奪う,主張する, that did not make explicitly (疑いを)晴らす that it was 関係のある to the reaction of the 乗り物 while it was 存在 driven was likely to 誤って導く.

'The reality is that an EV, from 存在 built to 存在 driven to 存在 scrapped, produces three times いっそう少なく CO2 than a 石油 乗り物.?And that 人物/姿/数字 will 増加する as more renewables continue to connect to the UK's grid.?

In 2022, the ASA published its 報告(する)/憶測 on 消費者s' understanding of 一般的に used 環境の 条件, such as?'炭素 中立の', '逮捕する 無' and 'electric' and 'hybrid' 乗り物s.

It said that advertisers need to be transparent about (人命などを)奪う,主張するs made around 条件 含むing '無 放出/発行s' when 述べるing green 製品s, 含むing EVs.

A spokesperson for the ASA told This is Money: 'We've been 規制するing 環境の (人命などを)奪う,主張するs in 広告s for years, and we've made it (疑いを)晴らす that any 客観的な (人命などを)奪う,主張するs need to be 支援するd up by 強健な 証拠.?

'When it comes to 絶対の (人命などを)奪う,主張するs, advertisers need to take into account the 十分な lifecycle of a 製品, and have 強健な 証拠 to support the (人命などを)奪う,主張するs.?

'This is a long-設立するd position, taking into account 独立した・無所属 消費者 研究, which shows (人命などを)奪う,主張するs in 広告s for electric 乗り物s aren't always 明確に understood.

'In this 事例/患者, both 広告s said their 乗り物s were '無 放出/発行' without qualifying what that 現実に meant.

'We recognised that electric cars 放出する 無 放出/発行s during use. However, given the 放出/発行s emitted during 製造(する), and the 可能性のある 放出/発行s 扶養家族 on 非難する source, we 支配するd that 述べるing them objectively as '無 放出/発行' was 誤って導くing by 示唆するing that the 製品 had 原因(となる)d no 放出/発行s at all.'

The 判決,裁定s against BMW and MG come just weeks after the ASA rapped the knuckles of both Kia and Mercedes for adverts?促進するing the '公式の/役人' 最大限 範囲 人物/姿/数字s for new electric cars, and not the actual 範囲 drivers might reasonably 推定する/予想する to 達成する.
