'I think we have a fighting chance of making that second 火星 移転 window,' Mr Musk said in a conversation with?Robert Zubrin, 創立者 of the?火星 Society.
The いわゆる '移転 window' 代表するs the best 適切な時期 ― based on the alignment of the 惑星s along their 軌道s ― to 開始する,打ち上げる a 使節団 from Earth to 火星.
The windows only appear every 26 months. The last was in the July of this year ― when the US, 中国 and the?部隊d Arab 首長国s all 開始する,打ち上げるd 調査(する)s to 火星.
The next 開始する,打ち上げる window will come around in 2022 ― with Musk having his 注目する,もくろむs 明らかに 始める,決める on the one after that, in 2024.?
Were it not for the 根底となる mechanics of the solar system that make these windows the most viable choice for 開始する,打ち上げるs, Mr Musk would try earlier, he said.
'[SpaceX] would maybe have a 発射 of sending or trying send something to 火星 in three years,' the tech CEO mused.
'But the window is four years away, because of them 存在 in different parts of the solar system.'

'SpaceX is taking on the biggest 選び出す/独身 challenge, the transportation system. There're all sorts of other systems that are going to be needed,' Dr Zubrin said.
'My personal hope is that we're gonna see Starship in the 成層圏 before this year's out, and if Elon is 権利, reach 軌道 next year or the year after.'
'This will change people's minds as to what is possible,' he continued.
'And then, you know, we'll have 航空宇宙局 捜し出すing to 基金 […] ― or entrepreneurs stepping 今後 to develop ― the remaining pieces of the puzzle.'
